As @chuffer said. We pay the co-op a lot. Or at least in my mind a lot. The whole reason you typically pay someone else to do something is so them can do it better and faster than you can. The prevailing crop should be the soybeans that were planted into the rye. In our sandy forest soils it is very key to the planted crops survival that the cover crop dies.

There really hasn’t been much time or opportunity time to post pics. We get up with the birds and are on trail by 7:35 am and hike until 5:30 or 6:00pm. Very little cell coverage on trail. Town stops are consumed with cleaning gear, resupply, planning next section, eating town food then catching an early shuttle back to the trail. There is so much of this I want to share with y’all. It’s incredibly physically demanding and time consuming. I promise I will get a new Thru Hike thread with pics started as soon as I can.
