One of the riders that I sponsor at my bike shop just won Silver at the 24hour solo world champs in Canberra.
Kim Hurst got a 2nd in the Elite womens with an impressive 384km of riding and over 8,000 vertical meters of climbing!
Other Muds regulars Thomas Lindup was 6th in Elite men's and young Ryan Hunt came in 4th in the U23 men's.
Absolutely stoked with the result!
Our head Mechanic Ricky (slackboy) went over and kept Kim's bikes running so sweet she swapped bikes each lap and he would give it a going over so she had a fresh mint bike each lap, he must be utter shattered as well right now after 24hours of that.
It's Kims 2nd great international result this year, she also took 2nd at the BikeBC race earlier on in the year and very nearly knocked Kona's factory rider the queen of lean off 1st.
