In hell. Welcome!
Happy Thanksgiving, monkeys. Yard work for me, hopefully a bike ride around lunch time. Enjoy your gigantic birds, may its meat be moist and tender!

Someone send a turkey sammich this way, I forgot my lunch for work today. :banghead:

I am also a dumbass. I was up until just about 3am, mostly on the Wikipedias reading about Antarctica and volcanos. Good thing that I have to drive across the city to drop some equipment off; that should waste about 2 hours.

It is currently pissing rain. No bike ride tonight, but I will try to do a short hike, just to get out in the fresh air.

Enjoy your long weekend yall.

Only one month to go until North Carolina. :D

Happy American Thanksgiving monkeys.

My son still has a fever, so my wife and I are splitting our day with him. This will likely spill over to tomorrow as well. It's white-out conditions here. I think my regularly scheduled thursday-night ride will be on my fat-bike. I guess that's what I bought it for, so I shouldn't be too dissapointed.

Happy gorging day.

I'm still in Portola Valley, carrying on with relatives I haven't seen in years or have never seen.

Rode Windy Hill yesterday on a ten tear old Specialized M4, basically a y-bike with pretensions. Ride was a very muddy why.did.I.bother. Continued from Skyline drive into Palo Alto, then back to P.V. At least I was turning pedals...

Broke my middle finger.

PSA: Don't smash your finger between a dropping 8' long, 5" dia steel pipe and a square edged aluminum crossmember.

Mornin monkeys!

Happy Thanksgiving! Still recovering from LASIK Tuesday. Whereas most people are good to go the day after my eyes almost wouldn't open and now I'm sitting here nursing foggy vision. I can see for sure, just need to let things heal up as my eyes are very sensitive.

In the mean time I'll just wear sunglasses all day long like Ray Charles.

El Corte Madera open space [ Skeggs] on the west side of 35 is a much better ride and holds up well in muddy conditions

Forgot my propane tank at work, gotta go get it for today. I deep fry two turkeys (one just for leftovers) also fried corn, sweet patato, bacon and some donuts. If your gunna fry food may as well fry a lot. Hope to get a ride in. But might just ride the new Coleman ct200 around the house.

Turkeys for monkeys! I started off my Day of Gorging with a 5K road race. I ran it in 19:48 (6:24 pace) at 100% maximum effort. Almost puked! I am happy get below 20 minutes again. I finished 24/481 overall. Then I rushed home so I could run another "unofficial" 5K that a local running group was hosting. I took that one a little easier and ran it in 21:46. No clock or results besides my watch, but I was the third one to finish. All you can eat Bloody Marys after if you like that sort of thing. Now my legs are tired. Hooray exercise!

Bring on the turkey, pie, and football.

Turkeyday at stepson's yesterday. Working at the casino today. Hopefully, I'll find out who the maggot was that wanted to punch one of our other supervisors a few days ago. Always makes for a good laugh when I see the messages in the computer.....

Wife jogged a 5k. 39 minutes is how she rolls. Mariko ran a 1k. I walked a 1/3rd k or so with Yuna.

Now strategizing how to tidy the house prior to parents and sister's brood arriving in a few hours.

Nice job IAB, Just did a 5k easy run with Watson my 4 year old Aussie, he had a blast as did I. Its nice to be able to run vs jog again
MBC wants a dog she can run with. The greyhound is not interest. So as soon as the cats kick the bucket, we'll get her a running partner. The cats will probably live another 15 years though just to spite us (they are 14).
