sorry but watching a buddie of mine go from bmx to mtn and possibly going pro at mtb while at bmx he was good but not THAT good, not pro good. but on a mtn bike he is very impressive.
meh...they are all better than me and all very tallented. i wish i could have some skill osmosis.
It bugs me how a lot of mountain bikers are at a total loss of perspective. They see the bmx guys doing all these crazy tricks and they think it must be easier on a bmx bike.
Simular thing with DH bikes and hardtails, I was at the Sea Otter dirt jump comp and heard a lot of comments like "Those guys on the DH bikes are crazy for doing that." But fact is, just cause you ride a DH bike and can't fathom doing any of that stuff doesn't mean its any easier on a different bike.
Seriously, a heavy bike with suspension is probally the easiest thing to hit big jumps on and a little rigid bmx bike is the hardest.
