Got up and did a bike ride, yay. Seems like daughter got a migraine yesterday, so she’s home from camp today to recover. That sucks, I would have liked if it skipped a generation or something.
Probably in to work in a bit, but moving slow.

Walked into the office and smelled smoke. Followed it and there was literally a bagel on fire in the toaster and no one in the room. As I carry the toaster outside the fire alarm goes off. Jesus Fucking Christ.
Everybody is all "GOOD JOB!" and back slaps like I'm goddam batman or something. All I want is the fire dept to clear the building so I can get coffee I set on the counter to move the toaster. That's all batman wants right now. We are currently violating my life rule of NOT FIRST THING THE MORNING.
The perpetrator has apparently had an anxiety attack and got in her car and drove away. No info on the kind of bagel it was.
Lots of fog here this morning.
Coffee in hand, no fire in the lunch room here, but there was a fire in my email inbox.
I really need to cut the grass.
Did they have an anxiety attack before or after the bagel caught fire?

good espresso to start my day. Just got the results of my latest blood work. TSH is still too high but my Cholesterol and Triglyceride levels are all really good. Bet they up the dose of Levothyroxine again. Having Hashimoto's disease kinda sucks

Doggo never had an accident in the house in the 3+ years we've had her, and yesterday she exploded twice on the floor. 
The second one was one of those situations where you come upon it, then just stop in your tracks and stare it for a minute, wondering how the hell you are going to tackle the clean up. Poor pup...not her fault. Her morning poops were on schedule and I had no reason to think anything was wrong.

Weird. It was 54 at the Haus at 6:30. Currently at 65-ish.

They funny thing (funny oh shit not funny haha) is that it is happening so much faster than predicted. The scientists told us we were fucked when we were actually super fucked.
I am ordering a locate for the property lines along the curbs today, hopefully there aren't a ton of utilities lurking below, and I am also requesting the city move some street signs since they are in the way of the future driveway. Also need to talk to a couple metal building peeps to make sure they are within code for the state.

Yup. Got an email that the trail system was closed after getting 6.5 inches of rain yesterday.
It rained SUPER hard here and then continued to steady rain most of the evening/night so I get it!
Home from the foot dr. this morning. Still not looking great, but it's improving. Injections and another scan coming soon to see if todays work helped. It sucks to get old!

I bought one of those girdle-style running belts a while back.
I have a soft flask of water freezing now. hopefully it will keep me cool on the ride, and thaw enough to have some ice-cold water at the end. win win!

my blood work and the results are better. In Nov my TSH was 130.9 real bad. Today it's 7.4. Goal is under 5.0
