Ok I am starting to get more hot and heavy in my riding and also planning DH trips cause I'm building up a DH bike. So I was wondering what you guys with perscription glasses do about wearing goggles. Does any company make perscription goggles or do you just wear your glasses under the googles or just wear your perscription shades?

Bolle. I had them. They were expensive. They sucked (the lenses).

It sucks ass working with those prescription inserts as well...if you think about the $200+ that they cost...well hell, put that in the bank for the "friggin-laser beam"

I wear cheapo clear ski goggles (scott w/ clear lense) over my glasses. I cut tiny holes on the sides for the glasses to fit through on the sides. It ain't sexy lookin' but it does the trick and keeps dirt out of my eyes. :D

Glasses under goggles, yes it looks goofy but it does work. My goggles are a Smith moto model and I'v got a set of glasses with those flexible 'memory' frames, so they just bend back to normal when I take the goggles off.

Small downside is that it sort of restricts your 'good' vision area out thru the goggles.

Tried wearing my contacts with my goggles, thinking that better peripheral vision is a good thing. Eyes kept drying out! Funny most people want more ventilated goggles, in this case I wanted less!

Personally, I'm saving up for that laser eye surgery or trying to con my health fund into paying!

Oakley do some goggles designed for wearing over glasses - think they're called L-frames. a bespectacled friend of mine has worn them for ages, and gets on really well with them.
JoeRay, might be worth giving Dragon Optics goggles a go, I've worn them for a couple of years now, without any drying problems with my gas permeable (hard) contact lenses.

Generally I suffer with dust and just wear my beat up old pair of glasses.

This moto ride it was mega dusty so I wore goggles when I could but they fogged up feirce at times.

Here I am DHing

Here I am before glasses and literally flying blind on the Mammoth Kamakazi DH course in 2000. :D
