A buddy of mine gave me some Smith snowboarding goggles with some orange lenses. What are the differences between DH goggles and snow/ski goggles? Would these lenses be ok for shady DH courses?

I used to buy snow goggles because you can get them really cheap in May/June. This year I got a hookup on a pair of Spy MX goggles. No comparision. They fit in a helmet much better and are have a lot more air under them so they don't fog as easily. Snow goggles work ok in a jam but if your racing or want really clear vision, spring for some MX ones.
The only problem with SOME snow goggles is that the strap doesn't have any silicone grip on it - without it the strap tends to slide when on the helmet.
