Such a long time I didnt post in here. I have been busy lately....sigh...

Back to the question, I feel like going touring next year...approximately a week on bike....

Should I ride :-

1) My Ellsworth Truth and fix with a rack & panniers
2) buy a Cannondale CX and fix a rack & panniers
3) get a MTB hardtail and fix a rack & panniers

Which will be the best option?

These are important questions. I am inclined to think a quality hardtail MTB is best for just about any kind of touring though. I used to tour a fair amount and tried some different setups.

Anyway - AWESOME! Tours are great.

It's gonna be road, outskirts, hilly, mountains but all road....

I plan for 80km/daily ride....

Then I'd recommend a MTB hardtail with racks and panniers. 1.5 to 2 inch slick or semi slick tires at 65 PSI.
