I have no idea where to get them, but I haven't seen them in quite a while, so I doubt they make them anymore. But I hear they're flexier than the black version.

I was told they didn't do the gold components because they were having problems with the coating not sticking properly... is this true?

i thought they were supposed to be gold hussefelts(which is why when they changed to Holzs the gold idea was dropped), anyhow my bike was supposed to have the gold, but the only bling bling I got was a gold LX shifter.

No gold casette plastic thingy? (I am correct in thinking you have an IH SGS, right?)

naw, it's not really gold, more like copper.

Gold Holzfellers would be sweet, especially on my TransGold V10 that has gold ProTaper bars and black holzfellers already.....I can imagine it now.....

Yup.

They were only available to sponsored riders, except they weren't actually Holzfellers. They were Hussefelts with the Holzfeller logo on them. TruVativ was experimenting with the paint and colors, etc., before they actually produced the cranks.

Bummer. :(

General question on gold anno from those that own any gold stuff. How well does it hold up to fading (sun, heat, etc.)?

I never considered myself as one to be fond of all the bling bling stuff but for some reason for this new bike build I'm gettin' the itch.

It's probably because of the new lock I bought for my new rig.
