So I never learn and look for advice in the lounge again.

My Toshiba is close to being dead and my job can be done remotely so I need a laptop that could allow me to ride in the day and work in the afternoons.
Main uses are simple. Office, Photo Editing, Basic Go Pro editing. I can do the heavy stuff on my PC.

It has to be fairly portable but 15 inch seems like a good size. Are there any new fancy shmancy systems for working in the cloud ouside of the apple stuff? (their stuff is stupid expensive). SD card slot and a dvd (preferably blu ray but not a must) player, hdmi out are needed. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't butt ugly. It should also be fairly durable and face no stability problems.

Lenovo almost always has some deals going. They're also about the only PC laptop manufacturer I'd be willing to buy from.
