Might get a new set of cross tires. The primary concerns are rolling resistance, durability and wieght. I also don't want to pay $50.

Right now, I am using Panaracer Crossblasters. They are light and have decent grip. I have also never flatted on them, which is nice. The rear is just about bald now. I also have a spare Michelin Mud laying around so I might just toss that on the front and put the Panaracer front in the rear, if I can't think of anything better. I will be riding mostly on dirt roads, pavement with a good measure of singletrack. No racing but I like to go fast.

I am super super fond of the Tufo tubular clinchers.

They take a normal tubular and glue a bead to it to expand onto the rim. They can't pinchflat and if you get a thorn or glass-type puncture you can just squeeze in some sealent.

You should be able to find them for ~35ish.

The Ritchey SpeedMax fits that bill nicely and they don't break the bank. I like mine just fine.
