How is everybody today?

I went on a road ride last night, it was really nice out yesterday evening.
I'm having a major blood flow to my feet problem when I ride my hardtail. I still can't figure it out. Other than that my legs were screaming at me because I hadn't used them in 4 days.

Have a great weekend everybody, it's supposed to be 100+ here tomorrow.

Date #2 worked out well last night. Mini golf, driving range, then Chilis for a little bit of dessert and back to her place for a bit.

Probably going for a ride tonight. Ill see how motivated I am when the 90 degree heat hits me as I pull the bullit out of the basement. Ugh, I like it hot, but this is unreasonable. This is such a terrible year for weather.

Did a brutal road ride last night. Ended with a nice sunset though. Almost killed myself twice as I'm still getting used to my pedals. Riding tonight with my LBS. Supposed to be 90 and humid today, 100 and humid tomorrow. Ugh, I might just spend the next 36 hours in my truck with the AC on.

After following echo around all last weekend, I'm really wanting a SS.

Ha, no. I was on my best behavior, though she said her parents were questioning whether or not we were gonna go at it. Oh well, I'll keep you all updated so you can live vicariously through this young strapping lad who still has some game unlike you old farts.

Went out on the SS last night for a couple hours in the woods with Bussa and another buddy. It was nice to finally get out on a SS only ride. Had a blast.

On the way home we had some schmoe in an SUV come up on us really fast in the left lane and flash his lights. I couldn't move over as there was a car there. Once past I put my signal on and started over, but the car had moved over already and the SUV came barreling around on the right. We threw the 'bird' at him and he slowed down, yelled a little and then threw something at our windshield. WTF? We're going 70 mph down the interstate, and you throw something the size and weight of a golf ball/small baseball at another cars windshield. After it hit (and didn't break/crack anything) he took off at about 90-100 and started passing cars. We couldn't catch him to get his plate number, and didn't really bother trying.

So, to sum up, we had a great ride which will 'finally' become a weekly staple, and an a$$hole try to kill us on the freeway. I really wish the riding was closer around here so I didn't have to drive as much. But now that I've quit my PT bike shop job, I finally have more time to ride, so I'm concentrating on that.

Hitting up the 'big' trails tomorrow, followed by an easy ride with the wife on Sunday. Have a great weekend, all, and good luck to those of you at Dalton.

Morning - went for a little pre-Dalton tune up ride on the Ted Wojcik Soft Trac - light bikes are good!!! I rode the same trails as I did the other day on my Hollowpoint, only about twice as fast and twice as nimble last night on the lighter bike that fits me better.

I'm not heading to Dalton until tomorrow morning. Should be a scorcher, but it also should be really fun.

Hi there......

Did a little shopping yesterday. Wasn't planning on it, but found myself at he checkout line with a new pair of shorts and a T-shirt. 30% off, so it wasn't a big hit to the wallet at all. Since I was so thrifty at the clothes purchase, I treated myself to a new bike chain that i've been desperately needing for some time now. My current chain looks like something out of a "Hellraiser" movie, and was starting to break too often. Got a SRAM PC89---very sexy for a chain. Beveled edges make for nice shifts. Grilled some great steaks when I got home and had a few beers along with it.

Also....our passports arrived yesterday, so we're all set for our honeymoon to Isla Mujeras!!! :blah: :eviltongu

Morning everyone. Not much going on here. Just waiting until the office closes at 2 so I can officially begin the weekend. I'm going to the Mohonk Mountain House for some nice hiking, swimming and relaxing. I'm still not feeling well enough to bike yet...sadness. But, hopefully soon.

Good luck to everyone who's racing this weekend. Stay cool.

I'm going to the Horse motorcycle show on Saturday. The same show Indian Larry managed to kill himself at last year. Then my brother and I are going to Rockingham for some drag races.

It is going to be a mullet/skullet festival. I may have a dedicated mullet memory card.

Go with 4-point mounted sliders rather than the all to common 3-point - especially if you have a longer slider (exteded/double cab trucks and the like).

morning all! One more good luck wish for all the monkeys this weekend. Haven't heard back from the 24hr people on volunteering, but I should hear something today. Hoping to get a ride in this afternoon, and going to the casino tonight to celebrate a friends birthday. Hope to see you all this weekend at the race. Since I'm not an athlete, I'll be an athletic supporter.
