'Morning. The boiler at work shut off last night, so it's frikkin FREEZING in the office this morning. Effing BRRRRRRR! My hands are freezing, making it hard to type.
Not much going on this weekend. Lots of running around tomorrow, then we pick up MBC's new toy in the afternoon.
I'm going to have come into work Sunday to eliminate some of my backlog. 
Then I have a hockey game Sunday night.

My company just tossed out 15 computers, so I have been dumpster diving. Right now I'm rebuilding a 2ghz 1gb ram desktop the was tossed away.
It had everything but harddrives. So I think I'm going to make myself an FTP server for the house.

Morning ! Had a Great ride last night ! was 38 degrees out , and once we got pedalling , it didn't didn't feel cold anymore.
have an 8 AM ride tommorow Morning , and Have a Deathmarch ride on Sunday at 9 .

Woohoo!!! After today, I'll be on Thanksgiving break, which consists of a whole week off this year. :evil: (as opposed to usually just wed-fri off)
Morning. Back at work today. Leaving early though to head down to Albany for a concert tonight. Can't wait!!

gonna be a busy day at work today.. but then its off to Happy Hour!!! Its my cousins Birthday so its gonna be a long fun filled night... i better nap before hand!!!!!
Sunday looks like a great day out, so after my football game I am going to head out for a ride... hopefully I can drag some friends with me

I went past my LBS last night.. they built up my new wheel set for me. Hope Hubs with ex729 rims.. nice!!! and light too!!!!!!

.....Is the move one of our contractors(and a dear friend of mine to boot) is trying to do to us this morning. I designed a set of roof trusses for this guy, gave him the price, showed him what it's going to look like via our 3D-rendering program, and he was cool with that. Said his foundation was going in and framers would start on it by the end of the week, so we got the plan in motion and started building them. I've got 10 man-hours in on the design work and did a lot of wrangling to make happen what he said he wanted to have happen. I've been calling him for three days trying to get a delivery time set up, when he calls back this morning and says "Please tell me you haven't built those trusses yet..." Of course my reply was "Yes, John....that's how we make money. You give us the plans, we build them, and you pay us. Pretty simple." Well.........now he's trying to give us this spiel that the house has now gone from a spec house to a private homeowner and they're wanting to make many changes---he was beside himself and didn't know what to do. Simple defensive maneuver on his part was to then shift the blame onto us saying he never told us to make them and that he never told me his foundation was going in when he said it was, blah, blah, blah.........happens a lot when contractors make mistakes and have issues with admiting it. We had six meeting to get these details ironed out beforehand and he still insists on pulling this little stunt on us. Really pisses me off because I f*cked up and trusted this guy to do what he said he was going to do. Now we're sitting here with 5000 bucks worth of trusses that may be rendered useless because he never notified us of any changes being made to the plan. Obviously this is more of a he-said/she-said type of thing, and that never gets anyone anywhere, so I calmly told him to just chill, get with the homeowners, find out what needs to be changed, agree on it, and get back to us and we'll drop back and punt, so to speak, and figure it all out. I hate doing buisness with friends and it's a hazard of the building industry sometimes if you're in a small town, but damn.........just had to vent a little.

morning all! Didn't get teh car yesterday. Dealer found a few problems, won't get my audi until wednesday before thanksgiving on my way up to VT for turkey with the rents. Doing some dancing and partying this weekend. Gonna try my hand at baking a splenda pumpkin cheesecake as well. Snowboarding at okemo on sunday.
Make sure you use the Splenda for baking.......I've made that mistake before.Crazy Sweeper said:
actually for cheesecake you use splenda granular, because the sugar in cheesecake is for flavor not substance (like in a traditional cake). I did the exact opposite mistake when making cookies a couple weeks ago. Didn't get the GE job. Oh well, no big deal. I am still guaranteed at Perini, so I am not in too bad of shape.
As far as this weekend, I think I have a date tonight. Then tomorrow its building trails up at Highland Mountain. Sunday is going to be a suck fest as I have to read a book and start writing a 5 page book report due Tuesday as well as study for a Thermodynamics quiz.

I plan to do a long hard road ride Saturday, and a long hard mtb ride Sunday. NICE!

The woman situation is great. I am now a one woman man. I wouldn't say we're a couple although we're seeing each other exclusively. Her greatest selling point: (besides being a gymnast, and having large breasts) she mountain bikes.
