How is everybody today?

I took a sick day to go to the doctors to get a physical and lymes test.
I'm hoping to go hiking or biking after my 10am appointment.
Tomorrow I'm going to a halloween party as Dwight K Shrute. I'm pretty excited about that!

What's everybody got on tap for the weekend?

Have a great day!

Hey Stosh...sounds like you are really sick given your hike or ride after your doctor's appt. :brows:

Was freaking cold this am, 27 at the house. IT FELT GREAT!!! Winter is certainly around the corner.

Big bro and I are going to Diablo tomorrow, other than that, not too much going on.

I got a pair of Nema pants a few years back that are pretty comfy. Lots of room, good closure at the ankle to keep the pant leg out of the chain, and reinforced knees for the inevitable falls in the snow/ice. I prefer lined tights for snow rides though and I'm a baggy shorts guy in the summer.

Morning. Working a 1/2 day today. Going to my first ever parent/teacher conference at my daughter's school today at 1:30 and then we've got a wedding to attend tonight at 5pm. Should be a hoot. Nothing on tap for tomorrow during the day, but SMBA has our Halloween ride scheduled for tomorrow night at 6pm so I'm hoping the rain will either hold off or move out by then. Last year we rode in the POURING rain and it SUCKED! Cross your fingers for Treesaw, Sq-Earl and I!!!

Doing ok I suppose. Can't sleep at night, not even the tinniest bit. All tossing and turning, waking up a dozen times and crap like that. Only at school though, not at home.

Other than that I'm running outta hard drive space. Anyone have spare hard drives lying around that they wouldn't mind sending my way?

'Morning! HOORAY for FRIDAY! Should be a nice quiet day. Both people who report directly to me (system admin and dept supervisor) took the day off, so disruptions today should be minimal. I might actually get something done.

Tomorrow's going to be rainy as hell, but that's ok since we just have a lot of running around to do. Hopefully it's cold so we can use our fireplace for the first time since moving into the house.

For "chilly" weather, I have a pair of long spandex that I use. For colder weather, I wear something like this over a pair of short spandex.

Happy Friday, everyone! It's going to rain here tonight, but luckily it will be all done for the weekend, then back to some nice weather! :D Saturday BV and I are going to a friend's Halloween party for pumpkin carving and cocktails. It should be a great time! I am making some yummy black bean salad to bring.

I will also be finishing up buying house stuff this weekend! They started painting yesterday, so we will be in there painting next weekend! I can't wait... it's coming along. Enjoy the weekend! :D

Mornin Stosh.

I did a short ride last night. Was pretty good, but with all the leaves down, it's very hard to stay on the trail. Got frustrating by the end. Rode for just under and hour. New shoes seemed to work well. I might try to ride again tonight, but well see how I'm feeling. All the crap I have going on is getting the best of me lately, so...

Not much on for the weekend. Lots of cleaning and time with the kids.

Hey everyone!!

BOOOOoooo.....long and busy week. HORRAAAAYYyyy, Weekend!!!

Not much to report today. Did a little more trailwork yesterday until it got too dark to see. I haven't swung a shovel in about a month and my shoulders are super-sore today.

Not a lot planned this weekend. The wife and I are house-hunting, so there will probably be a lot of driving around subdivisions on Saturday. The weather is supposed to be kinda crappy, so riding looks like it may be limited to Sunday.

...no class today, was going to ride but it came a sh*t storm from turd mountain last nite and everything is soaked to hell and its still sprinkling. I can probably try to get ahead on some projects, but most likely Ill eat a bunch of food and play on the internet.

Ask them to reschedule. Any idea where the reception is? I'm guessing the Simsbury Inn. Just curious.
I typically don't pay attention to such details. I got a call from my friend asking me to be in his wedding and I just thought, "yes, bachelor party, open bar, drunk bridesmaids".

If you are going to be looking for anything else to do in the area, you are pretty much screwed.

Watchin' you. Writing it all down.
Raining today and supposed to continue into tomorrow. So it'll be on the road tomorrow if I get out. Did get in a good ride last night so that's cool. My tires are about beat (Michelin XCR dry 2) Looking for something a little knobbier for the winter, so I'm going to try out Maxxis Ignitors. I'll definately go back the Michelins though in the summer. They've been awesome tires in the dry.

Sunday night football is here so Sunday will be a day of tailgaiting BBQ'ing and drinking and kicking Dallas in the a$$. The thought of a rookie quarterback getting crushed is always an awesome thing.

morning all!

trying like hell to put out all kinds of fires before grades are due next week. pretty busy, and I found out that I have to go to a damn birthday party for a friends kid on Sat. afternoon! the thing that sucks is Sat. is the only time I would have an oppertunity to ride, cause Bek and her dad are going to the symphony Sunday, so I will have Emma, and today is Beks birthday, and I would take a hell of a beating if I didn't do something with her tonight:bonk: ... but atleast I can go to my favorite Mex Restaurant cause they give a sweet 2 for 1 cupon deal for your birthday!

I plan on taking a few extra days off to go see my brother in White Plains and maybe try to catch some old friends in Poughkeepsie. February is such a nice time of year up there.

"Did you motorboat?"
"You did, didn't you....you motorboatin' sonofabitch"
"Were they built for comfort or for speed?"
"Get a real problem....I'm going to ice my balls and spit up blood."

Weather appears to be kinda crappy for the weekend everywhere within driving distance..we might just get a hike in or something tomorrow.

Last day of work for me. Had a work party last night so I'm tired today. Not sure what's on tap for the weekend with the rain; might go indoor climbing.

Doug, you better check on the 909 race. We were going to ride tomorrow and the forecast looks awful through Sun.

Morning. Brrrr it was cold out this morning, only 29 degrees. The 5-6 inches of snow we got in Boulder yesterday was crunchy and the roads were icy....glad I drove in. It's supposed to be in the mid 50's today and 60's all weekend so most of the snow will be melted by tomorrow.

Hopefully leaving work early today to set up our table for the Veloswap in Denver tomorrow. We'll be there trying to sell our stuff all day and giving away beers

Sunday....hopefully it'll be dry enough for some kind of ride, if not we're going to take the Jeep's out and play in the snow and mud.
