Shut up and Ride
Did you ride yesterday? Any plans for the w/e?

I had a great ride!

I was watching the weather at work and saw a big storm coming, so road ride from home, 3 miles to the bikepath, ended up racing some dude the 5 mile path :D, as I hit the end it started to sprinkle so I turned around (instead of taking the longer way home), couple minutes later it poured but I didnt care, stopped under a big bridge so I could chat w/ a hot and soaked jogger chick that was hiding from the rain :D, rain let up so I took off ( I wish I was brave enough to try to pick up jogger instead of just chating - oh well), hammered up some hills, felt good so I decided to hit a couple more, I only did 22 miles but it was fun!!! :thumb:

Good Morning - I didn't ride - went out after work to celebrate with a fairly new friend because she got a job offer yesterday and today is her birthday.

Had some nachos and a couple of Negra Modelos and came home, took the dogs for a long walk and then crashed really early.

Had a Drs. appointment this a.m. - everything seems good. My blood pressure was excellent and the Doc said I looked healthier than when I saw him six months ago so I take that as a good sign.

Not sure what tonight holds in store - I have the entire weekend free and I've yet to make any concrete plans to do stuff - I gotta improve on that. Hopefully some riding will be involved.

Went on my first ride in two weeks last night. 20 minutes into it I double flatted, only had one tube and the glue in my patch kit had dried up. It was a 45 minute walk out of the woods. My bike is obviously angry at me for ignoring it.

I find myself tightening my belt to the last hole now to keep my pants up - I was wearing 34s mainly but I'm pretty sure I'm a 32 now........just haven't bought any new pants in a while......to busy spending money on forks and stuff. ;)

No ride for me. Thunderstorm hit 10 minutes before I was going to load up to ride. I don't mind riding in the rain, but when the lightning starts I'm done.

Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
Morning!

Doug - I'm glad the scary fat guy is gone...he was creaping me out! Peace rocks!!!

In about 5 min. I am headed to the ortho. specialist to have some crap done to my wrist. It's been hurting since 4th of July time and we're finally getting some ground on what might be wrong. Should be a blast. They're gonna shoot some numbing agent in there and then some crazy dye and check it out. I didn't have any broken bones and my tendons have all passed the test so they are thinking I tore a piece of cartalidge or something. I'll know in an hour or so. Wish me luck....

Good luck Jozz - oh yeah and the price has already dropped on that 2Step FR without me even doing anything - the temptation has just increased!

took the red pill
I thought riding was supposed to make you feel good. I feel like I got run over by a dump truck. I rode the spagetti trails in Uxbridge again last night (acutally rode 3 times this week) and it was :thumb:
Of course I was "ALONE" as usual as I don't have any friends to ride with
:nopity:
I had an awesome time with myself though.

MMCG, you buying another rig man? Your actually worse than me. I only have 3 bikes right now. Not counting the BMW as I don't have it yet.

The verdict is in! After being shot-up in 3 different places a total of 5-6 times (3 with the dye and 2-3 with the numbing stuff), we find out that I didn't tear my cartalidge and my ligaments are also intact...YEAH no surgery for me. Down side is, we still don't know why I have the pain. Up side...I can keep biking (in moderation) and we don't believe that I am doing any more damage.
