Morning Monkeys - wow this is probably one of the latest GMT posts in RM history, but what the hell I'm starting the GMT anyway.

How was everyone's Tuesday night? Any plans to ride today for you Monkeys?

I had dinner with a woman I dated a couple of times over the winter, mostly a friendly dinner to catch up (not a date per se). It was nice to hear how she's been doing though.

I have to work late tonight and that just plain sucks big time, but I hope I can squeeze a short road ride in when I get home.

Need to keep talking to IAB and MBC to get some lights so once they get all settled in to their new digs, we can do some late summer/early fall/fall evening-night rides.

yeah I wish my vaca was a lot of R&R and now that I'm back this week is crazy.... I can't wait for fall and winter so my life will slow down a bit.

anyways, the GF and I found a spankin new appt complex, about 3 minutes from some of the better riding in orange county (aliso, for those of you in the area) and the place rocks- hardwood floor and granite countertops in the kitchen are just a hint at the nice stuff- will post pics- move in the 14th of sept!!!

oh- and got to go to the sawdust festival last night- its a arts and cr@p fair like thing for all the leftver hippies and artsy fartsy types in laguna beach. got some cool funky coffee cups.

Haven't seen the Manchurian Candidate yet but it looks pretty good and should be at least somewhat intelligent. Denzel is usually a good bet.

Got the chores done yesterday, cleaned the tables and chairs, cut the grass, and got out for a ride but never got out to get the cable housing. So I get to do that today.

Definitely get her outdoors. Movies are only good for junior high kids who want to make out. Do something where you can talk, or at least interact with each other. Hiking is always good as most people can do it.
