2 day week for me.

Pretty boring weekend. Spent most of Saturday working around the house. Had snow tires put on my wife's car, so I expect a warm front to roll in about mid december and last until about March or so. Sunday did a little shopping (my daughter just finished a growth spurt, so none of her clothes fit anymore).

I haven't ridden in probably a month... I feel gross and lazy.

Some of the bills for the house started rolling in. All the little things that we did over the course of the last year that weren't supposed to be all that significant in cost have added up to about 20% of our initial budget. That means we can no longer afford to finish off the basement like we had wanted to originally. The basemeant (along with the garage) are all I really cared about, so I'm pretty bummed. My family has offered to help me if I wanted to do it myself, which is cool. Between my father and my uncle, we can do everything (run the electricity, do the plumbing, insulate, drywall, etc.). Just gotta get the materials. Guess I'll be asking for Lowes gift cards for Christmas this year.

And an update with the builder saga... we've pretty much decided to pay him what he thinks we own him and cut our losses now. If at some point we do decide to have someone else finish the basement, we'll go with another contractor. We talked with our attorney, and it doesn't seem worth the cost/hastle it would be to go to arbitration over what would probably end up being a relatively small amount of money.

Hi :stosh: hope the jawa's are doin well.

i have no idea how many days off i'll have this upcoming weekend. Seems the jobs a little behind schedule so they might want us to come in on Fri. and Sat., but it's a longshot that'll happen. Too many intangibles like nobody showing up may occur. Roofers are unpredictable.... kinda like Jawa's i suppose.... :p

Hello.

I had a good weekend. :) Finally got to do some riding Saturday (see pic thread), then had Mexican food for dinner. Sunday, MBC and I got some holiday shopping done, had some good burgers for lunch, then saw "The Incredibles."

Morning Stosh

Had a good weekend - spent time with Laura on Friday night.

Hockey with my sons on Saturday morning - visited an LBS on Saturday afternoon - couldn't test ride anything because of the rain - was actually going to ride on Saturday afternoon but got rained out.

Saturday night Laura and I went out to dinner with a couple of her friends, Dan and Karen, to a new restaurant/pub that opened up in Farmington - the Wood N Tap - good food. Will make for a good post ride burger and beer destination joint!!!

Sunday - Liam had a hockey game and they won 3-0 and he scored one of the three goals. Then we drove to Albany to visit with my Mom, Brother and Sister-in-law.

A busy weekend but a fun one.

Short work week this week. Hoping to do a post turkey day ride on Friday morning.

Stosh, tell me more about your Hollowpoint again sometime will ya. What year is yours again? Did it come with a Fox Float AVA as the stock shock?

Morning Stosh.

Two day work week for me - I took tomorrow off. Jenn is having all four wisdom teeth out and I was originally going to just take an hour off to drive her back and forth from the dentist (they don't letcha drive). Decided I could use a day to clean the hell out of my apartment and take care of a few things I haven't had time to do, so I took the whole day and am going to rent a couple movies for Jenn while I clean.

Worked all day Saturday but had a nice and relaxing Sunday.

Mornin yo. Went for a ride on Saturday and discovered a good bit of trail in the lake. By in the lake I mean, there were ducks on the trail too. Went to Austin and bought some wool socks and borrowed a tensioner from the Inbred. Watched a movie called Redemption with Jamie Foxx playing the dude that founded the Crips(sp...) I liked it.

I've been using netflix for about 3 months. I've trippled my DVD library thanks to them, for virtually pennies. I've been very happy with their service, and their discs are usually in excellent shape, unlike renting from the video store.

forgot to add in my previous post... I'm playing raquetball tonight - first time in over a year... should be ugly, but I'm looking forward to it.

Good Morning Stosh! :D

Have my first night of physical therapy tonight! :)

This weekend was spent taking pics at the first winter dh race. Saturday was warm and then a cold front came through and brought snow to some of the surrounding areas making Sunday pretty chilly...but it made for a nice picture....

Yeah thats what I figured. My friend lived there, well a little north of that in San Bernardino.

We drove down to Big bear from his apt. It was a fun ride.

Good Mornin'.

Nothing much happening on this side of the world. Had to work saturday. 12 hours! Then drove home in a hail storm.

4 day work week this week but I will be able to sneak out early on wed, and fri. The GF and I are doing turkey day together by ourselves. No relatives. :)

I have a copy of DVD X Copy if you want it. Never really used it but I heard good things about it.
