How is everybody today?

I'm wearing a tie today... I have to go down and field measure a building in a gated community today. They will not allow me in if I'm wearing jeans. :)
Anyway had another great day at the gym. I even got to really take advantage of the basketball courts too so that was totally fun!!!

Hope ya all have a great day!

Morning! Another sloppy day in Upstate, NY. Got a dusting of snow/rain/sleet last night and rumor has it that Killington got close to a foot!!
We have a big remodel going on here at the casino I work at so things have been busy the past few days. Other than that I've started packing as the whole fam is headed to Pittsburgh this weekend to visit some friends and do the Halloween thing. I've never been to PGH so I'm looking forward to it.

I used to wear one every day for almost 10 years , was glad to get rid of it. But Now I have about 30 ties in my closet.
In my four jobs since college, I've gone from a formal dress code to two casual dress codes and back to formal dress code. With my current job, most people get to dress casually, but management (that's me) must dress professionally. Meh.

Good Monday Morning?? Huh??

I think it is humpday today is it not??

Anyway - had fun last night helping out on the ice at Liam's practice. I'm trying to help the goalie get better, but he's a lazy ass kid. He needs to work harder if he wants to improve.

I'm hoping that a 12-34 cassette and a 73x113 bottom bracket arrive at my place by weeks end.

stosh, what's the deal w/ the serial numbers?

i thought my PC issues were put to rest, but the BSoD has reared its ugly head again.

:dead:

You need to have a minimum # of letters/numbers in a post. To make that limit I just add a few #'s.

Anyway what the F' is a BSoD?

Mornin stosh...

Just getting here (2 hours late), so I've got a short day today. We lost power at the house yesterday about 1pm-ish... as of 9am this morning, still didn't have it back. Most of the trees still have leaves on them, so that combined with 8 inches of the wetest, heaviest snow you can imagine had tree limbs down all over the place. Took me 4 different tries to get home last night as several roads were closed due to downed trees.

All in all, it was actually pretty cool to be out in it all, at least once Renae and the kids were dropped off at the in-law's.

Not much on tap for today... going to look at a couple of houses on my lunch break.

What is this snow you speak of, and how is it we haven't gotten any of it yet?

So where are you looking at houses?
Should you be able to sell your house quickly?

Good luck on the search, we just submitted a counter offer on our house yesterday, hopefully they'll accept it and we'll have our house sold. Got my fingers crossed:thumb:

Good humpday morning, monkeys. This site does look silly. It's been kind of slow to load lately too.

I stayed up too late last night watching the world series and now it's a sleepy day. At least the sun is finally out. I had to ride on the trainer last night and hopefully I'll at least get out for a ride or lift some weights tonight.

BSoD = Blue Screen of Death.

it's some driver issue, which i thought i took care of via Linksys's advice. apparently not.

I had MAJOR problems with the MOBO drivers.

the MoBO is fine. the problem stemmed from installing an old utility driver for configuration of my wireless access point. my WAP is old, and the original driver for device config (security settings, SSID, broadcast channel, etc) was not written for XP. i was having probelms w/ my audio streamer and like an idiot i didn't check OS compatibility and just installed the old driver (the device was previously working on my old PC and i didn't need to change anything).

i fear i am hosed and might have to do an OS reinstall.

in the same general area... certain parts of vestal and endicott primarily. There are a few neighborhoods that we really like, and at this point, there's not hurry to buy, so we are kind of focusing our search on those neighborhoods. Once we start to see some interest in our house, we'll open up the search a bit to other areas.

Our realestate person says it should sell fairly quickly as there aren't many houses in the area in our price range. Lots of house up to $350k or so, but then very little after that until about 750k. So we should be in pretty good shape. We are planning to have an open house this weekend and another next weekend. That should give us an idea of what kind of interest/market there is for our house.

Seems like it was a pretty localized snow fall, and worse at higher elevations (which we DEFINITELY are). The town next to us only got rain, and was shocked to see my truck covered in snow.

Good morning! Today has been going by quite fast! Got some slushy snow last night and had about an inch on my car this morning to clean of. It definitely seems a bit early for snow though. Today I have class afterschool, then I plan on spinning for a little while and who knows what else.

Hey there......getting a little late for an East Coast post on the GMT, but I'm super freakin' busy today. Lots of stuff on my plate to get done before the day ends. Got a real complicated house plan with different wall heights, walls that are supposed to be weight-bearing that have no support underneath.......just a big mess from an architect who, apparently got his degree from the Stevie Wonder School of Design. Yuck. I just vomited a little.

Wrestled with the Stan's/Kenda combo last night, and have just come to the conclusion that the two weren't meant to go together at all. I've read some stuff about Kenda's not being compatible with Stan's, but then again, I've heard of plenty of people who didn't have a problem with the installation either. I'm gonna go with a tube for the time being until I can purchase another set of tires that may work better with the sealant.

That's about it for me.......gonna chill tonight and watch "Lost" and grill up some pork chops. Later.

man, that's just not right. 3 car garage and you have to scrape windows? F that. ditch the non-daily driver of yr wife's into the snow. or stash the bikes in the basement.
