Good starter bike

I am new to dirt jumping/urban riding and a looking to build up a soul cycles loki frame that i got off of a friend. i dont really know where to start with the components or fork. any reccomendations

im 6'2" 195. im trying to keep the price as low as possible and still have a decent ride. i want front suspension and single speed

Sounds like a good start. I mentioned lots of forks in the other thread but it sounds like a Marzocchi Dirt Jumper or Z1 would be good for you.

As far as components go, I would look for used stuff that'll fit your bike.

Some cheap yet decent parts that stick out are:

-Truvativ Hussefelt cranks. You can get 'em for like $20. Not great but they work.

-Truvativ BB, ISIS. Cheap, works.

-Any pedals, really. Wellgo and such are decently priced and decent.

-Stem/bars/seatpost/seat/etc. aren't important. Buy what fits and what you like.

-Buy a strong set of wheels that'll fit your frame and fork that's meant for DJing. There's a lot out there. Everything has it's plusses and minusses. Just get what's in your budget.
