I've lived in both states and Va is much lower. Although we do have personal property tax on cars, but considering gas prices are also low I don't mind paying them.

Hmmm...I just assumed every state has a car tax. Connecticut sure as hell does PLUS we have the high gas prices. Fortunately for me, I fill up in 25-cents-per-gallon-cheaper Massachusetts.

License renewal is pretty cheap in NY as well.

CA it's supposed to be crazy high.
