sounds good Doug! I hate to warm up (it always seams that I am using all my energy in the warm up) but then when I do I can really tell the difference! it is a wierd thing! I am glad you kept up your pace, let me know if there is anything I can do from a distance for your bike (shop connections etc.)douglas said:Dalton race last night, seems everytime I ride my bike something else is wrong (fork last night) - so frustrating.
My legs didnt start working until the 2nd lap, but by that time my main competition was long gone
I was wondering if they were going to have the race last night. after the T-storms went through.douglas said:Dalton race last night, seems everytime I ride my bike something else is wrong (fork last night) - so frustrating.

I was suppose to ride last night after I got home. But about a mile from Home I started hearing rumbling in the distance , and by the time I pulled into the driveway there was a huge Black clould approacing, and about 15 minutes later it was coming down in buckets !douglas said:me too!
BOC is my limit, dude! HA! The "Alive at 5" Series usually translates to drunk and passed out by 9.douglas said:haha! and Mr. E. Money is playing for free tonight

How are the Dalton races? Doable for a "fast twitch/aerobically challenged/35 lb. singlespeed" dude like me to try out?
and thats a bad thing??Jim Mac said:BOC is my limit, dude! HA! The "Alive at 5" Series usually translates to drunk and passed out by 9.
Man, this happened to me one too many times, so I ran a gas line out to my grill. It's nice to never have to worry about those stupid tanks. If you have gas in your house a plumber could likely run you a line for under $200 - then a $25 adapter for your grill, and you can cook until the cows come home.I Are Baboon said:So yeah, I'm getting ready to throw dinner on the grill last night and I run out of propane, I tell you what.
I didn't have one, so an avatar specialist PMd it to me. I like it too. Kind of looks like me without glasses.stosh said:awesome'est avatar ever!

Lucky dawg(s) on the Diablo trip! Mine faded away when the car blew upa few weeks ago...McGRP01 said:Morning. Went out to dinner with the fam last night and then to Target where I bought a new Guinness hat. I like it. Sorry, no pics of the hat. No plans for this evening, might try to get out on the road bike if it's not too hot. Other than that, I've got to go over my DH bike for my trip to Diablo w/ Treesaw, Sq-Earl, Isa (and who knows who else) on Monday.
Have a good one all!
Cool, I'll swing by and tie a cinder block to the back of it so I can keep up next time we ride together. :devil:Jim Mac said:Hey, I was up in your neck of the woods yesterday dropping my Kona off at Elevate for some major repairs (the "expertise" at our shop left for another job and everyone else is stuck in the 'pre disc brake and dh bike' days, sadly enough...).
HA! I have no pivots left and I smashed my reservoir on my rear brake and currently have none - that may either make me faster or will kill me. That's like a cinder block, but in reverse (and to my head, like this past Sunday...I still hurt!)McGRP01 said:Cool, I'll swing by and tie a cinder block to the back of it so I can keep up next time we ride together.
