Good morning!! Have fun on your trip, stosh!!

Not much happening here. The weekend is coming up too slowly. Stupid work.

No riding last night, but I ran three treadmill miles (took me 30 minutes).

Good Morning - just got back in from an 15 mile road ride this morning with Laura. Damn it was nice to be out riding and catching a decent breeze on the bike!!!

Probably the highlight of my day, since it supposed to be another scorcher here in CT.

So yeah, I'm getting ready to throw dinner on the grill last night and I run out of propane, I tell you what. And my spare tank was empty too. Good thing I had not yet thrown the steak and swordfish on the grill. So it looks like I'm heading to the hardware store after work tonight to fill both propane tanks.

i get out of work in about 1 hour...
tested the new software all night, trying to foolproof it. no matter how much foolproofing we do, always, the agents find a way to mess up something.... either they are genius idiots, or we suck at foolproofing.
still there are some minor stuff to fix, but tomorrow will be finished....

i need a flight sim for my work pc so bad....

Morning! Have a great trip and safe travels! :weee:

Nothing new and exciting here. Pretty tired and ready for the weekend! I started a scrapbook of our new house; we are going to check it out tomorrow night to see if they poured the slab. Half day tomorrow for a "team-building" pool party! It's going to be 110 degrees out there, but it's better than sitting around here. :D

Morning. Still without my car, so doing a lot of ride sharing! After many house chores last night, I got out on the Steelhead and rode down to the Empire State Plaza to check out a free show with (yes, more cowbell), BLUE OYSTER CULT. I made good time getting there despite my "climbing" gearing of 32/20 and pulled in just in time to hear the intro to "Godzilla"...did a bit of urban while the Cult (aka Soft White Underbelly) played in the background...then I noticed my slow leaking pinch flat - of course I have nothing on me but my phone, so I call Maureen to limply shuttle me home. Excellent crowd watching moments, including a group of twenty something drunk ladies dancing in a circle with their Corona's while singing, "Ohhhh no, there goes Tokyo. Go go Godzilla!" Interesting indeed.

Good morning,

Have the day off and going to take the kids on a road trip, probably Jerome since I haven't been up there in a while. It will be nice to have a free day and do just whatever.

Have a good day.

Dalton race last night, seems everytime I ride my bike something else is wrong (fork last night) - so frustrating.

My legs didnt start working until the 2nd lap, but by that time my main competition was long gone :(

Morning. Went out to dinner with the fam last night and then to Target where I bought a new Guinness hat. I like it. Sorry, no pics of the hat. No plans for this evening, might try to get out on the road bike if it's not too hot. Other than that, I've got to go over my DH bike for my trip to Diablo w/ Treesaw, Sq-Earl, Isa (and who knows who else) on Monday. :thumb:

Have a good one all! :)

sounds good Doug! I hate to warm up (it always seams that I am using all my energy in the warm up) but then when I do I can really tell the difference! it is a wierd thing! I am glad you kept up your pace, let me know if there is anything I can do from a distance for your bike (shop connections etc.)

Went to the driving range last night for the second consecutive night. Saw this one Asian couple that I had spoke with the previous night and proceeded to talk to them some more about golf. They asked me for advice and I did the best I could to advise them. She intently watched me and asked her husband things in their language, and then he tried to ask me questions. I really couldn't understand anything he was saying and just answered what I thought he did. It must have been good enough because he kept smiling and laughing. I kept smiling and laughing too. For some reason I don't think either of us understood what the other was talking about.

BOC is my limit, dude! HA! The "Alive at 5" Series usually translates to drunk and passed out by 9.

How are the Dalton races? Doable for a "fast twitch/aerobically challenged/35 lb. singlespeed" dude like me to try out?

Man, this happened to me one too many times, so I ran a gas line out to my grill. It's nice to never have to worry about those stupid tanks. If you have gas in your house a plumber could likely run you a line for under $200 - then a $25 adapter for your grill, and you can cook until the cows come home.

Lucky dawg(s) on the Diablo trip! Mine faded away when the car blew upa few weeks ago...

Hey, I was up in your neck of the woods yesterday dropping my Kona off at Elevate for some major repairs (the "expertise" at our shop left for another job and everyone else is stuck in the 'pre disc brake and dh bike' days, sadly enough...).

Cool, I'll swing by and tie a cinder block to the back of it so I can keep up next time we ride together.

HA! I have no pivots left and I smashed my reservoir on my rear brake and currently have none - that may either make me faster or will kill me. That's like a cinder block, but in reverse (and to my head, like this past Sunday...I still hurt!)
