I wear them as much as my 4 pairs of bike socks allow.Morning. Have a night ride planned tonight.
Nothing else going on.
I'm wearing bike socks at the office.
was sorta lost on last nights ride, started getting dark, of course all my lights were back in the truck - doh!
I'm leading a group ride tonight @ the pinebush
Good plan!I wear them as much as my 4 pairs of bike socks allow.
I'm asking for ONLY bike socks for Xmas.
Good luck!!! Riding during lunch will make the rest of the day look so much better. The office of one of the jobs I'm an finalist for has a whole third floor of an old house that has a kitchen, family room type area, and a full bath with shower! That was a selling point right there. Can you say lunch time road rides???
Although it is in downtown Hartford, so I might have to find an old roadie - not sure I'd want to be riding my Serotta around the streets of "New England's Rising Star."
Right on the property??? what kind of job is it? Who will you be working for, and are they still hiring?I can't wait for my new job-- There are miles of singletrack right on the property!!
So that means you are going to host a ride in the spring right? :biggrin:Good luck!!! Riding during lunch will make the rest of the day look so much better.

How long would the commute on a bike be? 20-25 miles? Man, that would kick ass.The office of one of the jobs I'm an finalist for has a whole third floor of an old house that has a kitchen, family room type area, and a full bath with shower! Probably something like that. But it would be a pretty hairy ride in through some fairly tough neighborhoods. How long would the commute on a bike be? 20-25 miles? Man, that would kick ass.
Yeah, I'll be able to park my car at the college in the morning and then grab my bike and ride right to the trailhead after work. There are also BMX jumps and skinnies and stunts there too. It's pretty nice land.Right on the property??? what kind of job is it? Who will you be working for, and are they still hiring?
Of course! But we should go to Stewart instead because that place rocks for a day-long ride:biggrin:So that means you are going to host a ride in the spring right?
No WOK no CARE!Morning
Other than the new fork, nothing new to report here.
I completely forgot Lost was on and I watched Criminal Minds instead.
What part of Tenn. are y'all going to? You do know we have mountains in NC too, right?Morning, all! Another beautiful, warm one here... 88 and sunny! We are going to check out the house tonight, to see how many walls they have up. Then tomorrow it's a half day and we leave for TN for the weekend, to the Blue Ridge mountains. Should be a good time. Enjoy the end of the week!
Yes, we do know that. But a friend of bv's dad has a house in Pigeon Forge, TN. Free place to stay, and it has a pool table and hot tub. I hope it's close to some waterfalls and good hiking areas, so we can spend some time outdoors Saturday! What part of Tenn. are y'all going to? You do know we have mountains in NC too, right?
Pigeon Forge: Home of the most congested traffic in the appalachians. Outlet malls and cheesy museums abound. Have funYes, we do know that. But a friend of bv's dad has a house in Pigeon Forge, TN. not bad (ride was w/a mudhunny who was suppose to go to her 2nd job after, but instead cooked me dinner )Glad you got back safe and sound. How did the post ride part of your night go???
I hope so! Sounds good so far. I want to buy myself a celebratory HID light when I get cash back for unused vacation days, but I can't figure out which one to buy...too many choices!sounds like a dream job Bluebug!
Welcome to the GMT.I read these every morning and don't post....got to start somewhere though
I really really wish it was Friday. This week is dragging Going to try and do a night ride tonight, the bf doesn't get out of work until 7pm and it'll be an hour drive up in the foothills...don't think the guys will want to wait for us. We'll probably hit the local open space trails on the CX bikes for some fun. Maybe some margaritas afterwards
Commute in was good, kinda chilly. Hopefully it'll warm up for the lunchtime ride.
I do like other sports better, since you asked.
No wok, but a basketball poll.
That's cool......hope you & bv have a good weekend. I'm just givin' ya the business cause of the 8 hr. plus drive y'all are facing. Ouchie. For that gas $$, you could rent a cute little cabin in Brevard and have all the waterfalls and hiking you can take---plus plenty of redneck poolhalls to get your game on.Yes, we do know that.
