My hot water heater sprung a leak yesterday and flooded my basement. I managed to build a drip pan for it and will be limping along until I can replace it this weekend. Sometimes I wish I was back in an apartment.
Launching? As in, lip of a jump type launching?Originally posted by stosh
Yes and no. I'm pretty happy with is but I'm still having trouble launching properly.

Had some great salmon steaks last night.. Grilled up, a little rosemary and lemon.. Good stuff.
Also, if anyone has a chance to pick up a bottle of Francis Coppola's "Rosso", I highly recommend it. About $11 at my local liquor store, and a really great red wine for the price. I buy 'em regularly.
Yeah as in the lip of a jump type. It's a 5th element.Originally posted by binary visions

What kind of shock is it?
Lots of practice. The tradeoff for having such a tunable, pedalling platform shock is it will never be lively like a Fox, and so it doesn't "pop" you off the lips.Originally posted by stosh

Yeah I've done it before, not that hard. Except that I have stupid plastic pipes in my house and if you don't have the special crimping tool you need to buy all these expesnive compression fittings that I don't trust. I miss good old copper pipes, I like using my blowtorch.Originally posted by stosh
Oh well it's an easy fix and compared to some things the cost is minimal.
I'm installing a vinyl soffit ceiling on the back porch of my apt. this weekend hopefully.
Yeah well it's not to bad. The vinyl soffit goes together pretty quick and it's only a 10X15 porch.Originally posted by Westy

Ceiling work is a pain in the neck, literally, shoulders too.

Hola.
Busy as butt at work this morning. Plus I have to pee.
I sold some stock this morning. And it's my three year wedding anniversary! My how time flies.
Sold the stock just to have a little extra money. It's really not that much, but enough to help a little. I wanted to borrow against my 403b, but the plan does not allow you to borrow against mutual funds. No biggie.Originally posted by stosh
You sell the stock to buy your house? When are you looking to move in?
Congrats on the anniversary!
You missed a question....Originally posted by I Are Baboon

Not sure yet. The closing date is listed as "Aug 30 or sooner", so whenever the current owners get thier house in Florida completed and move their asses out.

I need a new job so I can go out earlier. I asked my boss if I could leave a 4pm for the summer. He's a passive aggressive so he hasnt' given me an answer.
