I got home from work yesterday to find a package that I was not expecting. A bottle of Jim Beam that Ghostrider sent me, I am guessing it is a result of the Dalton Smacktalk thread.

A huge thanks to Ghostrider.:thumb:

G'morning! I feel like a kid on Christmas eve. I got the car packed last night. All I need to do tomorrow is roll out of bed, throw the bikes on the roof, the cooler in the back and I am Vermont bound!

I'm off tomorrow...so NOT IT!

race at Dalton was muddy, muddy, muddy (monster truck announcer voice)

1/2 my fault, 1/2 the guy in front of me but I ended up going off course (wasted at least 1 minute before someone else yelled wrong way)

last lap, chain dropped, and bent a couple links - so once I realized I could not use my granny gear (chain would just fall right back off) - I limped home, ca-chunk, ca- chunk, ca-chunk

:stupid:

Wifey and I packed most of our stuff last night. My car is pretty packed and we still have to fit MMcG's stuff in there. We're heading out at 7:00 tomorrow for a hearty breakfast, then it's off to East Burke.

Yup. I split the drive last time, but couldn't get the extra day this year. I'm leaving at 6:00. Once I get out of DC and past B-more, it should be smooth sailing. My estimate is NYC by 10:30, Hartford by 12:00, East Burke by 3:30. Sound reasonable?

I almost had to stop in central PA "on the way." That would have added at least 3 hours to the trip. :dead:

Word! I'm borrowing a neighbor's "easy pass" for the trip. He's done the trip to NYC with and without the pass and he claims it saves him about a half an hour.

I've taken several trips through NJ and PA with my easy pass and they DO save you a ton of time. There is one toll plaza in NJ where if you have an EZ Pass, you don't have to slow down. It'd be nice if they were all like that.

I ran from the cops once. IT was me and my GF we went into a parking lot real quick and ran in a store. The cop couldn't tell which of us was driving which car.

Mornin Stosh. What's going on?

I'm pretty much burring my head in work today so I don't get bogged down thinking about the family crisis that's going on, or the fact that it's keeping me from monkeyfest this year.

I'm waaaaay stressed out, like I've never been before (at least not that I remember). I need to ride to work out some of the stress, then veg out some to let my brain/nerves calm down. Hopefully getting my hair cut tonight, then puttering around the new house for a bit.

God I wish I had a home...
