Today is Friday for me. I have tomorrow off. We have the final walk through of our house tomorrow morning, then we have the closing at 1:00. This weekend will be furniture and major appliance shopping. I love doing that sh*t.

Went riding last night. I was actually cold standing in the parking lot after my ride. This is the nicest summer I can remember. I still think Loco must be from New York City.

who went riding last night, i did...the trails were suprisingly dry for how much rain we have been getting, i guess the ride wasnt all that exciting it kinda kicked my ass though...ran into really FAT dude on a blur, i was wondering how he could actually mtn bike, and why the f he got a blur, i guess having tons of disposible income rocks!

put a really nice used fork on my Marin last night. Also had a drink with a woman - that didn't go so well.
And I almost got hit by one of those newfangled Chevy hotrod pickup trucks on my way home. The guy driving it was hydroplaning like crazy going in the opposite direction I was headed - he was fishtailing like a mofo all over the place - came over into my lane - narrowly missed me, and then proceeded back over into his lane and rammed into a guard rail and flipped his new yellow hotrod truck. I wonder if he got seriously injured - I was going the opposite direction so I just held on to the steering wheel and tried to stay steady and kept driving - My heart was racing! Holy crap I was lucky. I hope the guy driving is okay.

She was a woman - not a girl - and there wasn't any spark or attraction and I realized she had very different values and views on things - so we had one drink each and called it a night.stosh said:

Just stopped into work for a sec to pick up a couple of things. I gotta wait around for Verizon to fix the phones at the new house. Someone else moved in across the street, and when they had their phones hooked up our phone number started ringing through to their house.
Gotta love Verizon, "Um, yes Mr. Taylor... we can have someone there tomorrow to look at that for you. The technition should be there between 8am and 4pm." - what a crock :mumble:
