I was resisting the urge to start this thread

'morning everyone. The move went well last night, despite Francis' best attempts to waterlog us and every piece of furniture we moved.

Didn't get to sleep until late, and woke up at 4:30 to drive home this morning. I'm suprisingly alert, all things considered.

Anyone flooded yet?

Long quiet night at work. rest of today is not good. Sleep for now and later on I have to go to a viewing for my Uncle. He pasted away Monday night from a long bought of cancer. Tomorrow morning it is off to the funeral.

I didn't see him more than 2-3 times a year, but always had a smile on his face and friendly chats.

Sorry to hear this. The memorial for a good friend of mine was on Tues, but I couldn't make it (in Kansas City). I'm bummed about that.

I'm home today since the wife's car died yesterday (battery, alternator) so she took my truck and the way things worked out today, it would have been a waste of my time to even go in to work. I'm taking a break from working on my fence (only 1 more post to put in...out of 18). Hanging the pickets will be the easy part. Its gonna look sweet.
