Good tire for riding around town and light trails?

I just bought a used bike and the tires that came with it are pretty knobby on the sides so that it's not that smooth of a ride on pavement. I'm looking at getting either Kenda K-rad's ($28 at LBS) or DMR Moto RT's ($30 at LBS) to use for around town and some light trails. I've read the reviews for both on MTBR and it seems they are both adequate for my purposes. Anyone here have any opinions on either of these tires?

I've ridden them both and they are very similar, your not gonna notice any difference riding around town. I prefer the DMRs for the UK flavour.

I ran the Krads on my DJ bike. They roll fast and super smooth. If you're just going to ride them on pavement, then get them. If you plan on hitting the dirt with them, don't plan on stopping fast or being able to turn real well.
WTB makes some good ones too. I think they're call the "graffiti" tires.
