How the F' is everyone today? (Had to throw that F in there for Stosh)

I'm feelin good today. Went out with a bunch of co-workers last night to celebrate the departure of a member of our development team. She's lucky to be getting out! Good times at a place called Mediza (Mediterranean - hmmm.....spelling?). They had Dogfish 60 minute IPA on tap so I had a couple of those. IPA goes well with that kinda food. We basically just ordered a bunch of "small plates" and chowed down and drank.

Leaves are fallin fast around here now.

Tonight it is a hockey night for Liam, and the boys will be sleeping over tonight, so I'll get to spend a lot of time with them.

IPA's are great. Almost always have some Dogfish Head or Harpoon at work. And falling leaves suck cause that just means I have to rake the yard twice before the snow hits.

Morning! Avg. night last night. Got home and went outside to play with the kids. My daughter is ripping it up on her bike these days!! She's dropping off curbs, going down stairs, etc. and she's FAST! She's just about outgrown her 16", so we're getting her a 20" for Xmas. I'm hoping to get her out on some beginner trails with me this weekend. Other than that, watched Heros and some football last night, had some beers. Riding after work today if the rain holds off and then heading to the Mexican Connection after for a SMBA meeting and some tacos and cervezas (sp?)!!

Didn't have class yesterday so we wint to Clinton's Crossing in CT to get some new clothes. Class today though, and I'm not excited. Girlfriend and I are going to be dating for 6 months on Saturday, and I didn't think it would last. Basically it's going to be a very long day.

I'm headed into the Ford dealership this morning to have my truck worked on. Yay.

Yesterday I went on the first aerial survey in my new position. We were over the Superstition Mtns looking for desert bighorn and I saw this white neonate. Very cool! (at least I thought...)

Well, Emma had her first wreck on her bike last night. We were over at my parents visiting before they go on a trip to Paris, and she was riding up and down the driveway which has a very slight grade to it. She just started pedaling a few weeks ago, and she was really doing well, coming back down the driveway, when she started to swerve the bike back and forth. It went up on the one training wheel, and front wheel, and then over jamming her face down and pinning her fingers between the bar and the ground. (now I know why the call it "the ground" it was like a meat grinder chewed up her finger!) any way she calmed down after a bit, and has a nice fat upper and lower lip, and her nose is super wide and swollen. Her fingers are chewed up, so she is a little uncomfortable, but she slept fairly well last night so that is good!

Morning. It's starting to lightly snow/rain here in Boulder...supposed to have and inch by tomorrow. No biggie. Hopefully it's not too wet to do a lunchtime ride.

Moved into our new place over the weekend and it's awesome! Went from 750sq ft to over 1500sq ft. We don't have enough stuff to fill the house yet but I'm sure we will soon. Commute has been a little rough the last couple days, I keep getting flats on a section of open space trail where they've cut some tree's and grass....damn thorns Guess it's time for the Mr Tuffy's, the slime tubes at least get me to work and then my tire goes flat but hopefully the Mr Tuffy's will keep the thorns from getting through.

Yeah, my last trip down there on the On-One was so good enough that I felt that I had "earned" the right to some rear travel (I conquered the rock drop finally).

So far so good. It installed easily enough (it is the bottom bracket mount one). I did have to get a new bashring, the 40t one I had was way too wide and hit the roller.

Thanks Sorgie. I am happier than a pig in poop right now. I haven't really had a chance to ride it, but I did hit some stuff on the way into my office this morning. It pedals fairly well, but it will NOT be my new commuter bike. I am pretty sure about that.
