Who cares how talented they are, what do they look like?MMcG said:we have some very talented future doctors and dentists who will be graduating in 2007 (the class of 2007 hosts the convocation for the class of 2008).

what does that thing do?
oh yeah, I can see that in the pic..........but I guess after riding for (BIG NUMBER HERE) years and never having a problem with the bend(loop) seems like a waste to meWumpus said:Takes the bend(loop) out of the rear derailleur housing.
And if it's so ridiculous, why did SRAM incorporate it into their derailleur design? Huh? Answer that one tough guy!Echo said:Or you could get a SRAM derailleur, which renders that ridiculous thing obsolete...
I never had a problem with the bend until I installed new cables and housing and made the loop too small. Someone gave me a rollamajig to fix the problem. I will say that my shifts seem quicker, but take that for what it's worth given that my comparisons are to a worn out set of cables/housing and a new set with a too small loop.douglas said:oh yeah, I can see that in the pic..........but I guess after riding for (BIG NUMBER HERE) years and never having a problem with the bend(loop) seems like a waste to me

I could see you married to a Doc, being the kept man.....
Mark, I work in a med school - take my advice - flirt with the neurosurgeons, the trauma docs, and the reconstructive specialists (they all become cosmetic surgeons). That's where the bucks are!MMcG said:But they will all be stuck with those hefty student loans to payoff!
Hahaha.. My girlfriend is starting her masters degree next week in neuroscience, intending to go to med school next year. I've informed her that the year she pays off her student loans we will be taking a very expensive vacation, on herMackie said:<snip> take my advice - flirt with the neurosurgeons <snip> That's where the bucks are!

(uhh, "on her" financially, not physically. Well, maybe physically. But mostly financially.)

Woo Hoo!MMcG said:oh man it is so beautiful out today - today would have been an amazing day for an epic ride.
I noticed that all the female teams wear the same (whattya call em?) suits/uniforms - whoever the company is that made those (Nike?) they should be given a gold medal.douglas said:Woo Hoo!
volley ball tonight!! I wonder (and hope) some of the female players get inspired by what the female olympic players are wearing!

Hey Binary, tell her to stick with the Neuroscience, and skip the med school. Got my doctorate in neuroscience without taking a single loan - they actually paid me to go to school! (acutally, you all paid me - govenment grants!)binary visions said:Hahaha.. My girlfriend is starting her masters degree next week in neuroscience, intending to go to med school next year.

We got back to NY yesterday at 5pm.
It's amazing flying over the country. The only placed that look "liveable" to me was right here where I live. Cali was way to dry for me....I felt like the whole state could burn down with one flick of a cig butt.
Yeah, it does but I have filled that as well! DOUGH!MMcG said:What's wrong with the Claras?
Does the new photo gallery give us more space to host our pics? I had to delete my Dalton pics to make room for new ones and that sucked - now my posts in that thread are pic-less.
I was out there in Jan once. It was far green on the windmill hills then the black hills I saw this time.Brian HCM#1 said:Yep, were we are its very flamible, but I like it. Its pretty in the spring when everything is green.......really its green from about Jan-April
