So I need to have a wheelset laced up and need some suggestions on a GOOD wheel builder on Long Island. I'd venture into doing it myself (this would be my first time) but this wheelset is going to be for my downhill bike and I just want it done very well by someone who REALLY knows what the hell they are doing. I have the hubs/rims/spokes, I just need it all laced up correctly

Any suggestions?

Honestly, you should give it a shot yourself.

I built both for my freeride bike like 3 years ago, then recently moved them over to my hardtail and they're still running well. It may be intimidating at first, but once you get the first one done, the second one will be a breeze.

I wouldn't recommend a DH wheelset as someones experimental first time building.
