    Not unexpected I guess, but I always had a soft spot for this guy. He was always the last guy with Lance on those climbs, the last guy who could hang.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but he was one of the guys who got left out of the Tour because 4 of his teammates were expelled, but his name wasn't really in it too much, yes?

    Tiny, tiny guy. When I was with my prior company, the entire ONCE team rolled in one day, each one smaller than the next, it was pretty funny to see.

    I always liked Belokim but he was never the same after that crash, even when he was fully healed , you could see he wouldn't take some of the chances he used to.

    He was totally different, you're right. Hell, I've had some bad crashes, one that put me in the ER overnight, and off the bike for about 6 months, but nothing as bad as his. I can only imagine what he went through to get at least close to that level again though.

    That crash was tough to watch. Hell, it still is. Nuff said.

    I believe he was implicated, but nothing came of it (similar to the 50 some other people implicated in Puerto)
