Towing the party line.
Former CIA director and current president of texas AM, Bob Gates in.

How come this reaction to the vote speech/booting of rumsfeld speech has turned into a push Iraq policy speech? What a douche.

That would have been my title. Think the timing is coincidental that he resigns on the day that the Dems take the Congress?

Maybe that will chill the impeachment talks...

Heard the same on NPR. It isn't even F bomb Tuesday. Doubt he swore but he does sound really perturbed about something, can't imagine what it is.
I got 20 bucks on SNL (or some other actually funny show) doing a bit where Shrub throws a temper tantrum and starts crying and sucking his thumb.

If no one does this....I've lost hope in our countries comedic genius.

Out of my mind, back in a moment.

Bra-f'in-vo.

One down, now to get rid of the rest of them.

I love how Shrub just claimed that "I'm not sure Iraq had a lot to do with that election."

Watchin' you. Writing it all down.
This change is very significant.

Robert Gates is of the old school. There is no way that Cheney and Rove are good with that.

Gates is a George senior guy that almost to a man are against the "neocons".

Sweet. Maybe Bush is listening to pops a little more now.
