the most straightforward way is to win the nurburgring 24h endurance race. to do that race you need the iB license. it looks like the cars entered are mostly JGTC class cars, so if you enter it with a Group C/Le Mans car (put on super hard tires btw, maybe hards on the front) and set the B-spec pace to 3 with overtake on you should be set. just make sure it's in the lead and then leave it on for a day. when you come back your B-spec driver should have taken the victory.

For the next race I'm thinking a Skyline (street car) on Laguna Seca. All mods open. There are so many Skylines to choose from that you can pick whatever car you like best.

Yeah I'm thinking any Skyline except for the race cars. There are a shlt ton of them and you can tune them nicely.
So the Roadgoing is fine, Nismo tuners are fine, one off's etc. are all in. Just not race specific like the NSX's we just raced.

Toshi, how do you set the pit stops in B-spec mode???
You can't "set" them. It all depends on what durometer your tires are using as well as how hard you're driving.....you can delay them or make them more frequent but in B-spec they pretty much take them at the right time....D
it'll pick the default options after a short delay, and as D noted the car will pit automagically when it starts to get low on fuel or short on tire life. in other words, with a fast enough car as compared to the rest of the field you can turn off the tv and relax as b-spec bob does all the work, albeit at 1x speed as opposed to the 3x that you could do if you switched to race monitor mode and sped things up after each pit stop.
Tosh I feel so stupid...I'm at my sisters in the Bay area and I brought my G Turismo 4...but never took the disk out of my PS2...I have the case and my memory card but no disk

Well I'm 13 hours in to the 24 hour hours at he Burg, I should have the F1 by the end of the night.

I only got the car at 11:30 last night, but I've logged something like 1:18.xxxare spinner and i the only ones who have logged times for the Cote d'Azur/F1 challenge?
I'll be running this one right up to the end though so look for my times at the end of the night.

For tonight I took the Skyline GTR V-Spec II N1
My best time is 1:18.832, but that's pretty sloppy. I've heavily modified the suspension on this car and it still feels like I'm throwing the car around the trackl.
I'm going to have to put a lot of work in to this one to pull out a respectable time.

i haven't started in with the skyline yet, as i had to log a time for the subaru board's weekly contest. incidentally it also happens to be on laguna seca, only with a bone stock Ford GT '05 (tires + oil change allowed, nothing else).
getting that softly sprung, tall-geared, oversteering beast under 1'20" took all my effort. in comparison the skylines should be a blast.

Oops , I didn't realise the deadline had passed for the F1 challenge. Just to confirm my time , 1:15.060.
