"The truth is Nadya's not capable of raising 14 children."

The mother of the woman who gave birth to octuplets recently is speaking exclusively to RadarOnline.com and says her daughter's actions are "unconscionable."

When Nadya, 33, decided to be implanted with multiple embryos, Angela was stunned. She told RadarOnline.com: "I was very upset. She already has six beautiful children, why would she do this?

"To have them all is unconscionable to me. She really really has no idea what she's doing to her children and to me."

Nadya lives with Angela, a retired teacher, and Angela says Nadya contributes no money to the support of her own children. Eight people - soon to be 16 - are cramped into a small three-bedroom house and fed in shifts.

Well Mom, you sort of ****ed things up by having the crazy ass breeder live there rent free and taking care of her.

Classic co-dependent enabler...

The doctors involved in this (unfortunately not) mass abortion should lose their medical licenses...

irresponsible, yes; but she's finally putting her money maker to work.

and recalling that most of us here came from humble beginnings, who's to say these fine young cannibals won't go on to be captains of industry?

She is pulling almost $110k per year from welfare...and can a movie of the week or a book deal be far behind? I will also bet that she sues the doc who implanted her for over fertilizing her dumb ass...

She birthed 4 kids WHILE ON DISABILITY! Maybe they should have checked into her activities better.

Why is it they can find a guy on workmans comp playing softball, but a chick with a back injury and birth a heard of children without issue?

Not welfare, but still.

A California agency says it paid the mother of newborn octuplets more than $165,000 in disability payments for an on-the-job back injury. The payments made over six years to Nadya Suleman were disclosed Thursday to The Associated Press following a public records request to the Department of Mental Health. The payments were made between 2002 and 2008, during which time the single mother gave birth to most of her six other children.

Suleman, who gave birth to the octuplets last week, was employed at a state mental health hospital from 1997 until December, when she resigned the position. Records show that for much of that time, however, she was unable to work.

27.5k a year for disability, and in California, 27.5k isn't much.
She worked there less than a year, then collected disability for 6. Is the amount REALLY the issue here?

She had a back problem that kept her out of work, but she was fit enough to birth 4 kids. I have never birthed a child myself, but my wife says it's a lot harder than working.

<edit> Welfare doesn't pay much better, from what I hear.

She was employed from 1997 to 2002, although she couldn't work much of the time. If the amount doesn't matter, then why bring it up?

That article says that she was injured in 1999 after a riot at the hospital where she worked.

I really don't get all the hate directed towards her, if anything, direct it towards the fertility specialist.

She opted to have the kids. The specialist recommended aborting most of the 8.

Why the f@ck does a single mom with 6 kids visit a fertility clinc in the first place?

My hate towards her is thie fact that she can't support the 6 kids she has now. Then on top of that, she gets knocked up with 8 and opts to keep all of them KNOWING GOOD AND WELL she can't support or raise them.

She has made choices to force society to either raise or at the very least pay for her kids. People like this should be shot in the face.

<edit>

She said that with six children, she was struggling financially to support them and likely would not have been able to make it without the support of her mother, who allowed the family to stay with her in her three-bedroom Whittier home.

"I will feed them; I will do the best I possibly can," Suleman said in the interview. "In my own way, in my own faith, I do believe wholeheartedly that God will provide in his own way."
By God, she means state welfare.

I hate both of them equally. This whole thing is incredibly retarded on both of their behalf's.

:stupid:

I bet if this happened in China the whole family and doctor would have magically disappeared by now. I wouldn't be against that sort of thing in this situation either.

I would donate a portion of my tax return to that program if it were an option.

Done.

Octuplets' mother identifies her fertility clinic

The Associated Press

1:28 PM EST, February 9, 2009

LOS ANGELES

The mother who gave birth to octuplets identified a Beverly Hills fertility clinic that she said provided in-vitro fertilization for all 14 of her children.

Nadya Suleman said in an interview that aired Monday on NBC's "Today" show that she used the West Coast IVF Clinic for all of her pregnancies.

Video from 2006 that was aired Monday on KTLA-TV shows Dr. Michael Kamrava from the clinic treating Suleman and discussing the implantation process.

Suleman did not name her doctor in the NBC interview but said the same doctor helped her conceive all 14 of her children at the clinic.

Without identifying the doctor, the Medical Board of California said last week it was looking into the matter to see if there was a "violation of the standard of care" for implanting so many embryos.

The medical board's Web site lists no previous actions taken against the doctor by the state.

There was no answer to a telephone call placed before business hours to the clinic, and Kamrava did not immediately return a pager message.

unless you are volunteering to pay for her kids' food, housing, clothes, health care, and schooling, STFU.

Anyone who thinks there is nothing wrong with a woman who plants 8 embryos after having 6 kids, and went to a new doctor when her mother asked her previous doctor to not do any more implants, is a moron.
:bonk:

Really?

Even if you don't feel it yourself, are you saying you don't understand it?

Really?
I understand it, of course. It is just like the Foreign Office diplomat saying "F**king Israelis, f**king Jews...Israeli soldiers should be wiped off the face of the earth."

Except maybe he did mean that, who knows.

Because welfare moms = Jews. I would not have made that connection before now, thanks.

Yes, had the doctors not forced her to become pregnant, all would be right in the world. How dare those clinics preform guerrilla fertilizations!
She asked for them, but it is the responsibility of the doctors to determine whether it is a good idea or not.

The doctor can not force the patient to abort, only recommend. I'm not saying the doctor is free and clear, but the mother is ultimately to blame.

It's like trying to blame the cable guy for you watching porn because he was the enabler.
