A committee from the WWU Cycling Team is working with a company called Atura Recreation, an event management company here in Bellingham, WA to put on a mountain bike festival in September. We have been cranking away at planning since September and it is time for us to nail down the event identity.
Being that this is a new event we don't have a huge budget so our hope is to find a graphic designer who is willing to put some work together for us in exchange for the resume building experience and exposure. We are looking for idea generation surrounding an event logo and colors in addition to some promotional material development ie - fliers, banners, etc.
At the very least we are just looking to get the logo and colors for the identity. We have already conducted some brain storming and put together some points for a graphic designer to work with so we should have enough for them to get a start. We would like to get the identity nailed down in the next 2-3 weeks, at least the initial proposals for ideas.
With all of that in mind, if any of you are graphic designers and interested in being a part of this event please either post here or email me at matt@wwucycling.com.
