Hey nut5sack - have I once, in any post on this site (or anywhere, for that matter) - said that we should be in Iraq? What was that cute little saying about messages and messengers that you used not 4 posts ago?
So why do you support your loved ones going into Iraq then?

innocent folks don't tote RPGS, sorry.
Only American soldiers are allowed to tote RPGs I guess? Everyone who dares to stand up to the stupid, pointless, illegal invasion of their country by an oil hungry moron is by definition evil.

No, 1- americans don't carry RPGs. 2- Soldiers are not innocent by definition, on any side of any conflict in the history of mankind.

Also, shut up with the illegal crap - if i have to mention it again i will....ALL WARS ARE ILLEGAL NO MATTER WHAT. So seriously, shutup about it, no one cares to hear you blather on in your simplistic manner about something you obviously have absolutely no clear understanding of.

Yeah - unfortunately, I live 20 minutes south of Boulder - a town filled with sheltered little trustafarian college kids spouting the same tired idealist rhetoric that Changleen is.

I lived IN boulder for 4 years. I moved home. Spoiled brats will never get it.

This guy is classic, when clearly outwitted, he proceeds to insults and things like his post above. Love to see how high he would score in a debate.

And that apparantly, you cannot explain either.
Why? I'd have better luck explaining it to my dog. You lost any credibility you might've had, in my eyes, when you started spouting off about how U.S. soldiers are tools and how it would be no great loss if they did not return. Why should I defend my position to you?

About what? I made a point that this war is stupid and pointless, and so far, all you two idiots have done is got outraged. Nice going, shaggy.

AAAhahahah - discussion Is that what you call this? See -because I thought discussion involved a civilized exchange of actual ideas , not just some dude up on a soapbox, chucking hammers, while he gets rotten tomatoes thrown at him.

This isn't discussion, debate, or anything of the sort. This is "The Changleen Show", during which you have condemned both the good and bad people of the US armed forces, for being tools and of no value whatsoever.

I am only happy that Transcend and Slugman (at least one of whom, I sense, shares your ideas about the war) have stuck around to counter the blind hatred that you spew under the guise of peace-loving enlightenment. My contribution to your circus ends here, have fun, dick.

you missed the exchange. He came to a battle of the wits unarmed again. It is beginning to be amusing. Although probably not fair for those of us with greater then a 4th grade education to pick on him.

Just ask him about how the Jews are really behind 911 sometime. Its quite educational. He's actually a Bin Lade apologist when you get down to it. Seriously.

It's great fun when even a jarhead republican like yourself can walk him around the block and back and make his head spin from the trip. Seriously, there must be something wrong with the education system in new zealand. :p ;)

That dude's posts are pretty much all angry rants. If I wanted to read ranting, I'd look for Knuckleslammer posts.

Anyway, this was a major offensive in Fallujah. American deaths are expected. I can't believe people are acting all surprised about this.

The unabashed stupidity of the last 5 pages was not.

Changleen, consider yourself lucky to live in such an insignificant nation and therefore free from ever being in the situation of a US soldier. I think the war is idiotic but that doesn't cause me to lose respect for my family fighting this war ( or 'nam, Korea, WW2 and WW1 - it's called serving your nation). You can call them mindless but at least they act on convictions instead of sitting around pointing fingers while doing nothing. Is America and it's policies perfect? Hell no, but at least we don't roll over to oppressors like all the other push overs on this planet.

I don't like kiwis all that much - I ate a bunch of them once before they were ripe, and they made me sick. That, and they're hairy too, oh, wait, uh nevermind...

Sure, when the japanese fleet was on the horizon but I'm sure the NZ soldiers were enlightened, free thinkers instead of brainless twits worthy of dying. I don't even know why I'm in this thread. Must have something to do with my time working in europe getting beaten up on my german pacifist come latelys calling my country brutal and inhumane

Geez...

Look at the timelines for the World Wars. Then look at when the US entered. Can we put this one to rest, please?

I'm not one of the " if it wasn't for us you'd be speaking "x" theorists. My point is every soldier is a tool for the agenda of those assigning them whether history judges the conflict as just or not. Regardless, the initiation of American involvement in WW1/2 is irrelevant since our role as a superpower didn't occur until after WW2 ended.

My point wasn't a particularly difficult one to get but it seems you are having trouble. Let me help- the Kiwis are more than willing to do their bit if they feel it's warranted. They were last in action in East Timor for example. I know too that if Australia was ever attacked the ONLY ones we could absolutely 100% rely on to help us would be the Kiwis. So if you wanna talk smack about the Kiwis be my guest but I'm not gonna let it pass. BTW you do realise Changleen is British, don't you?
