Great 2 days at N*

Great couple of days! My wife and I were there Saturday and Sunday, and had a great time. It was her first time back on a bike after getting stitches at Whistler, and she ripped. :dancing:
I managed to take out my rear brake and rear derailer Saturday afternoon. Did one more ride down Pho-dog without a rear break
I didn't realize how exiting it is to skid your front wheel down Karpiel 
Sunday morning was F-ing cold. I got up early to work on the bike, but went back to bed... It was just too cold to be bleeding brakes. Didn't get to the lifts til around noon.
I've been working on Dog-bone this year. I finally landed the log drop (right after the padded tree turn). I was having such a good day I decided to have Melissa film me hitting the Z logs at the lift... Some of you must have seen it. I made the first log, made the hop to the second log, got my front wheel on the third log... and fell on my ass
Melissa got it on film. Classic. She also got me hitting the Z-logs cleanly, but the shot of me falling is way funnier.
Great way to end a really good season. Hopefully next year I'll get a chance to ride with a few more monkeys.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... It was even better after "the fence thing" when we where just past Slabs he crashed, his foot came right out of his shoe and the shoe was still clipped in. I laughed SOOOOOOOOO HARD that I couldn't see and hit a tree. OMG Woo has some funny a** sh!t happen to him.

I made it up there for the first time on Sunday. I am in love with rock gardens now. Took a first "warmup run" down karpeil and dog bone and that was fun. I really like the waterfall and vietnam sections. I was up there in a black sweatshirt on a blue giant dh team if anyone saw me. I think i saw the guy trying the z logs at the bottom.
