So I've got some Husselfelt Howitser cranks on my Blindside, with a TBC chainguide and a gamut bashguard.

I went a bit nuts and bought some half price Saint cranks on impulse.

Anyone have any insight as to whether I'm going to need a new chainguide and/or bashguard as well?

That nun has one hell of a rack.

Well, my buddy is coming over to help/do everything with the crank swap. Dremmel in hand.

Success! With the help of my skilled Dremmeller buddy Big-Ted, I now have a sick set of saintly Saint cranks.

The bashguard took a little Dremmeling at the chainring tabs to get the space down between the bashguard and the chainring. The clearances seem to be just about right.

So, yes. It is possible to mount Saint cranks with a TBC chainguide and a Gamut bashguard. But about 2 mm or so of bash needed to be removed. Added 1 spacer to the drive side.

Seems all good.
