Hey All--
So my phone rings early this morning, and my boss wanted to talk to me about scheduling. To give some background, since I work at one of the Lake Tahoe casinos (I won't mention any names, however, it begins with a "B"), management does this thing where dealers and supervisors get rated on their job performance, then the higher-rated personnel get to "bid" on their shifts. Meaning-- the better one's rated, the better chance they have of getting the exact schedule they'd like. Any way, my boss tells me that I was the #1-rated supervisor at "B's", and if I wanted the early starts, they were mine. Yes, I took them!! Granted, I've always been one that feels seniority comes first, and there is one other supervisor that has been there longer than me. After a coaching session, though, well, yes, I'm being egotistical and taking the early starts. Granted, it will cut in deeply to my day rides (like I've been riding much since Pueblo-- haha), yet to be on a "normal" schedule again, without all the drunks at night (hey, I can be a drunk at night-- haha again), and maybe my relationship with my wife will improve.
By the way, anyone have any info on the "Coolest 24 Hour MTB Event"???
