Check out this injury report from Mark Stierwalt, who picked up a little "splinter" between his toes during stage 1 of last weekend's enduro. It's a pretty funny account of it all, with iphone play-by-play pictures. Makes you realize all the hazards we blast by every time we ride down a trail in our forests.

Yuck. Speared myself between my pointer and middle finger during a crash at Beech last year, left a big hole but no giant splinter thankfully.
