I know a couple of you guys are running Midges on your bikes. Obviously Shiggy - hell you had a huge part in designing them right?

couple of questions.

1. What are some of the brake lever options out there to run Midges with Avid Mechanical mtb bb7 discs?

2. What are some good stem options to seek out to get the bars at the right/comforatble level proportional to the saddle? I usually run my other bars at or slightly higher than the saddle.

Thanks!

Levers: With BB-7 mountain brakes you only really have one choice and that's the Dia Compe 287V levers. (The one's meant for linear pull brakes)

With BB-7 road calipers, you can use any standard road lever, including STI brifters.

Stems: Cheap and durable Dimension stems in the 40 degree rise are the best bet for a threadless steerer set up, which I'm betting you are going to use. Any LBS with a QBP account can get those for you. A slightly pricier option is the Salsa Moto Ace, but the Dimension stem is practically the same thing, just cheaper.
