OK, I have unlocked the whole map and having fun flying around in the helicopter and gambling in the casinos, but can't buy any more properties and can't get past the "Zero RC Shop" missions. Are they required to progress? The cell phone doesn't ring any more and there are no more missions to do otherwise...just those dopey car/boat/plane schools that are about as fun as homework.

Damn...

I thought I had played quite a bit of GTA, and was wondering if I'd ever see any of the other areas... I finally unlocked the second area this weekend (where you have to kill the witness protected by the FBI).

How many hours do you have invested in the game?!

Also... Did anyone else spend hours instigating gang wars and converting all the purple (Baller's) areas to green, only to have the entire map wiped clean of any gang affiliation after you unlock the second area?

I got it for Christmas and only play when everyone else is asleep...no cheats or any such foolishness, though. I don't play that much, really.

The worst thing was losing the steady stream of income provided from the previously-mentioned gangland acquisitions...that and losing all my weaponry in the water when the helicopter went down on one of the yakuza missions.

Since this is a MTB site, be sure to do the DH MTB race on Mt. Chilliad...just keep an eye out for Bigfoot!

yea, beat that. fun game. no cheats used
only thing was the weird easter egg, flying southeast for like 25min, the gang territories are now all over the map. hard to find gangs to start wars though.
i'm like 89% or something. didn't get all the osters or spray paints. got the horseshoes and picture spots though.

yes you have to do the RC missions.

What about all those properties that you can't buy on the casino strip downtown marked in red? I presume the stupid Zero RC missions must be completed to allow purchase of any of those, right? The only way I can make a decent fast buck now is by gambling! The worst thing about it is that you have to listen to the RC geek spout his whiney crap before every attempt.

"They're not toys! They're just smaller!"

"I thought you said you could shoot, Carl"

"Berkeley's going for the last transmitter; we can't loose another transmitter!"

"Curse you Berkeley...CURSE YOUUU!"

Your talking about the mission where you have to shoot down the RC planes with the mini gun right? I think you do need to that one but you don't need to do the next one, where you blow up van with the RC plane. The one with the minigun is hard, it must have taken me 25-35 tries, but eventually you get the hang of it. I only tried the next on a few times becasue it was alot harder.
