Was about to hit the send button on a Pedalhead and thought I would peruse the manual and I noticed the 3mm rear wheel offset requirement. Am I correct it would need a wheel dished 3mm from the standard boost setup?
Yeah, but it takes a couple minutes if you do it yourself. Or if you get the wheels from us, it’ll come ready to go.
If you’re going to switch wheels from bike to bike, dish it 1.5mm and it should be fine in both.
FTFY1.5 mm is probably outside of the manufacturing tolerances Maxxis, Schwalbe and others are capable of.
Or buy a frame that doesn't need this BS. If 1.5 mm offset does not matter, then why design a frame with 3? Can hardly make a world of difference. If you’re going to switch wheels from bike to bike, dish it 1.5mm and it should be fine in both.
Do you wheelie mean that? That was half of the point. You’ll be fine.
I see you're going pawl the way.The engagement is high in this one.
I am buzzing with excitement.I see you're going pawl the way.
/subscribedMy hand hasn't healed fully however progress will not wait...
Received tracking info for the SD. I think I have enough bits to build a functional bike. Fuck YESH

What effect would putting a 230 x 60 coil shock on a Megatrail have? (Proper stroke is 65, iirc)
Thanks!
You'll probably get angry bears.yo @mtg

It would have a little less travel, probably 6-10mm less. Otherwise, should be fine, as long as you run the sag at the percentage of shock stroke.yo @mtg
