nice try, but you're no jackalope.Don't know how you guys are ever going to penetrate the Enduro® market with guys like this representing your company.
Enduro violations:
1. long hair generates drag at speed (see Fabien, Nico, Rude for guidance)
2. no fluoro as part of a multispectral colorway
3. no gloves therefore no colorway coordination
4. no gogs (see #3 about matchy matchy)
5. no part-time full face helmet
6. riding appears to be taking place in winter, on the East coast and lacks any greenery, exotic foliage, volcanoes, ancient cities, or Scotland.
Please see this EWS propaganda and get your shit together:

Where is that in VA? Nice riding and looks like a fun bike on fun trails.
But he did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.nice try, but you're no jackalope.
Noted. I will refrain from all e-humor or enduro mockery in the future since it seems that shit is serious business.nice try, but you're no jackalope.
or you should enroll in jackalope's course - internet mockery, ridicule, derpbrappery, and farcical nonsense. it's a graduate level course, so you may need to check the prereq's.Noted. I will refrain from all e-humor or enduro mockery in the future since it seems that shit is serious business.
Jackalope was the best man in my wedding and we've been doing dumb stuff on (and off) bikes together for over 10 years. If I haven't got it by now, I'd say I'm hopeless.or you should enroll in jackalope's course - internet mockery, ridicule, derpbrappery, and farcical nonsense. it's a graduate level course, so you may need to check the prereq's.

you don't ask for these things, you know that. Just like our president, they get forced on you, in a crowded elevator, even surrounded by people.@Sandwich make it so
You definitely ask for these things, but for others not yourself. That's how it works.you don't ask for these things, you know that. Just like our president, they get forced on you, in a crowded elevator, even surrounded by people.
Under 60% of people of voting age participated in the 2016 election. I don't think anyone was forced on anybody.you don't ask for these things, you know that. Just like our president, they get forced on you, in a crowded elevator, even surrounded by people.
Have done, did not photo. Next time, I'll try to remember to take a picture.so any images of the Megatrail or the Megatrail SS speced with a 29" wheelset yet ???

yeah what he said , something to make the Wreckoning and Slash butt pucker , and in aluminum and fits a water bottle in the frame !!!bah, Just come out with the long travel 29er model. The "monster trail"
The answer to that question is the Pistola setup. 130/140 travel with a coil shock.Yes, I know it'll be overkill for most CO front range trails, but I'm old and need the added cushion for the launchin into the gnar. Plus my pr's and kom's seem to be lacking and a new, rad bike would make me relevant again. Please make me relevant again
Aside from the obvious wheel size, is there a difference between the Trail Pistol set up for 130 and the Megatrail SS? Mostly just personal preference at that point? The answer to that question is the Pistola setup. 130/140 travel with a coil shock.
I enjoy posting alternative facts, so I will offer up the assumption that the Trail Pist is designed to run flex wheels and the SS is not (ie- it will raise the BB well above acceptable kidwoo levels). I'd wonder if there would be any unwanted seat tube/tire interactions as well depending on rim and tire models.Aside from the obvious wheel size, is there a difference between the Trail Pistol set up for 130 and the Megatrail SS? Mostly just personal preference at that point?
Between the Trail Pistol set up 130r/140f vs the Megatrail SS with the standard 27.5 configuration, preferences make the difference. The smaller wheels, ever so slightly shorter chainstay, with less BB drop of the SS can be whipped around/wheelied/manualed more easily. Gravity Mode as a turbo button is another difference. The 29er wheels on the Pistol simply keep more speed in a straight line.Aside from the obvious wheel size, is there a difference between the Trail Pistol set up for 130 and the Megatrail SS? There is still hope yet for my wheelie / manual skills<snip> the Megatrail SS with the standard 27.5 configuration, preferences make the difference. so what,s the travel with the 29r on the MegaTrail , will it clear in both settings ?Have done, did not photo. Next time, I'll try to remember to take a picture.
You can run something pretty big in Trail Mode. Gravity Mode can take up to the OD of a 29x2.3 on i30 on the SS.so what,s the travel with the 29r on the MegaTrail , will it clear in both settings ?
just got cleared to ride again so making plan,s again for a 29r and if I can run a 29x 2.35/2.4 on a decent inner rim width ( 30/33mm) in the the rear on MegaTrail then that,s the model I will save for .

That looks fun as hell!Trying to shake off the rust from this winter. @jackalope leading the charge down one of our trails. Follow cam/lander evasion/commentary courtesy of the inimitable @farris. Bonus points for difficulty with two trail pups joining in--they were so pumped!
Well, that trail is called "Suns Out Guns Out", so when in Rome...Although, I'm only offering up a .22 derringer show thesedays...Nice gun show, @jackalope
