media blackout
On a side note the rise in popularity of calling it a “Gee Gee” is annoying, it’s like a bunch of dudes all the sudden get a slimy French accent for a moment. But really it’s the only complaint I can muster. I’ve sold six in our shop and all have been great!
you're thinking of the wrong GG

In the bathroom, fighting a battle
I keep meaning to write a bit of a review of the TP, but I keep forgetting to take any decent pictures, and because mine was only ever my bike, and not a fellow Monkey who I could talk shit to about having "their" frame I've been far less motivated. I too was in the middle of a bathroom remodel, had to replace the entire front suspension on my truck, and have a kid on the way, but I didn't cancel my order because I knew it would be a mistake.

Couple key points
- Based on my calibrated right arm, it's a bit heavier than I was expecting
- Despite the weight, it's faster up and down trails than other bikes I've ridden
- Because it's faster, it's more fun, and when I'm having fun I try silly things and that usually results in crashing
- The biggest difference between it and other bikes is on really chunky stuff, it likes big holes and rocks a whole lot
- I can clean many technical climbs I previously could not, despite riding far less due to previously mentioned bathroom remodel, and kid's room remodel
- As Woo mentioned, shit lines up really well, which is good because the DPX2 ate it's bushings in the first month so it's been in and out a few times. I'd advise buying the Push bushings and installing them right off the hop, they last much longer
- It should come with gold stickers, silver is not as good as gold.

Oh yeah. I put an enduro bearing in the 'rear' bolt for the DPX

I was actually trying to find a gold foil/leaf decal material for max bling, but haven't found anything suitable yet. Gold may happen at some point, we are planning on changing the options periodically.

NORCAL is the hizzle
Can confirm 'Woo actually has a GG and that he sometimes rides it.

Looks like I'm in a band called Dark Cabbage Zombies. Kind of meh, but on par with my porn name: Brandy Pilgrim. (First pet, first street name.)

Hey @mtg ... not sure if you can or want to answer this question here, but it has been bugging me... is the Trail Pistol the other frame that PinkBike broke in their Field Test? It sounds like whatever it was, it jacked up the rider pretty bad... I have been thrashing my Smash and it continues to love it (so I highly doubt it), but they are being stupid tight-lipped about it. Otherwise, did PinkBike provide any feedback to you guys or tell you how the testing went? I was beyond giddy when I saw the horns headbadge in their first reveal. So excited for ya'll. Keep on killin it.

Shred on. This is what we know:

- PinkBike is including the company response for broken bikes in the field test, and we have not been asked for a response.
- I know the testing we've done, they're strong.
- Several PB employees hit us up about buying GG frames personally after the field test sessions. Levy was also very stoked on The Smash in his review last year, and at the Revved launch in Texas, he was pretty pumped on the Trail Pistol.

As a side note, they asked for a size 2 Trail Pistol, so I don't think Levy and Kazimer rode it as part of this field test, as they both ride size 3.
