if it was the metal one included in the nuts kit...... I understand why they swapped that POS out. Lost 2 bottles from that one.
We’ve changed from that MSW side mount. It’s a Zefal cage now and it works great: really easy to use, there’s fore/aft adjustment to dial in the fit for whatever shock and bottles you use, it holds the bottle secure, and the location is easier to access than the DT mount location.

As mentioned, they swapped out the tires to something quite a bit heavier, plus the shock was changed, and it sounds like they included the weight of some peripherals. Gotta love keyboard warriors:wave:
some people just need viagra when bike weights go up

You mind posting which one you're using? Zefal offers a bunch and I'm lazy.

I forgot the model name, but this one: https://ridegg.com/frame-storage-kit

I have a huge pile of bottles and cages that I measured, made CAD models of, and test fit to come up with something that just works well for multiple shock and bottle combinations. That’s what we sell in the frame storage kit.

My mistake.
I assumed Pinkbike wouldn't add 2.5 lbs to your bike by swapping parts,
They effectively did ya dirty before the review even started, thats not right.

It's beyond me why Pinkbike would compare this bike to a Top Fuel.

Regardless, it's pretty significant coverage for a small company, so congrats to Rid Egg!

or maybe figuring out exactly which bikes fit into a new category is sort of a chicken and egg problem....which comes first, the category details or the bikes themselves? :bonk:

A Trans-Am fire chicken laying an egg would be fitting.
Geez, that's 3 brands combined... nevermind.

I do like the options for model names this egg theme would open up... Really rough ones
