Hi guys. I have a Blur with an M750 (non rapid rise) XT derailer. I have the B-tension screw cranked down all the way, but the pully still lightly rubs on the biggest sprocket. Also, it just BARELY shifts to that gear, and when it does the cable is guitar string taut.

Anybody else have this problem? Suggestions?

I had a similar problem (on a different bike though), it turned out to be a mixture of inncorrect chain length, knackered jockey wheels and the stop screws were a bit to far in.

Take you chain off and see how it works (you will have to pull the cage down though or it will hit the cassette)

Try taking a link out of the chain. You'll notice that as the cage swings forward the top pulley gets farther away from the cogs. Check the big/big combo first to see if you have some slack. I'm betting you do.

Thanks guys. I'll give that a try, but I need to get some new pins first. I remember when I broke my derailer a few months back though, I initially adjusted the new one before I put the chain on and it still rubbed though.
