I am looking for a bashguard to bolt in place of the granny on my cranks. Dropping the granny but dont need to run a guide. What are these called, where to get them? Got one used?

try some of these,http://www.jensonusa.com/store/sub/1278-Bashguards.aspx Just make sure you get the right chainring bolts to mount it, They have longer collars on the inner nut. try to get a bash guard kit that comes with the bolts it would make life easier. Yea I looked there, I didn't see any that went in place of the granny gear. I know they make them, I'll keep looking. Thx.

Well sandwich the chain on the middle ring between the two, yes. I see them around.

I know I've seen them for sale somewhere, but can't remember right now. I made a few of them for myself, currently running them on both my Yeti 575 (pictured) and Turner Highline. I did have to make some tweaks as different cranks affect the mounting. If the gap is too large the chain can get stuck, or too small and it rubs when using the large cogs in back.

rock a ronniering with a heim 3ring guide that goes on outside of your big ring and you could have 3 rings and 2 bash guards = pure ossim.
