That's why I drink it.
It is a nitrogen charge to make it taste like it is out of a tap.
It's called a 'widget', unless your drinking bottles, then its a 'rocket widget'.
Also, read the label on the can. You need to open it and then IMMEDIEATELY pour it into a glass. No drinking from the can, or it'll be kind of flat.
With the rocket widget, it releases a little N2 every time the bottle is tipped, so you can drink directly from the bottle.

Regardless of age, mack is correct. Canned Guinness stout, with or without foaming balls, has all the flavor of weak tea. On tap, it's great.
