Hey!!! It’s Monday and we’ve already got an active shooter in good ol Kentucky. Thank god there weren’t any drag shows going on. Whew. Man we love our late term abortions in this country.
I can't wait until the girls can leave and never come back.

This situation has been on my mind since the Kyle Rittenhouse case and this feels similar in terms of the conflict between "right to carry" and "stand your ground". Seemingly you can now have a situation where there are multiple armed people and each person feels threatened by the presence of the other armed people. Because of this perceived threat, someone starts shooting, and no law is broken due to stand your ground. Doesn't this effectively legalize a significant amount of gang violence? Or almost any murder where both parties are armed? In states with these laws, guns are to be openly displayed and celebrated, but are also scary and threatening so you're allowed to murder someone who has one.

Thats exactly it. Someone had an AK47. So what? Its legal in Texas. You don't get to shoot someone by law just because they also have a gun. Not holding the murderer accountable is lawlessness. From the party that claims to be law and order. The fine print says “not applicable to white religious conservatives”.

More than legal in Texas, it's openly encouraged and celebrated. But it's also scary and warrants fear and lethal self defense.
